Baoase Luxury Resort

Baoase was phenomenal. Our Honeymoon Suite and Enhancements were well worth it. We had privacy, and the attention to detail on the premises was spectacular. The atmosphere was very romantic and the food was delightful, to say the least. Scallops were orgasmic. Everyone was so caring and attentive. They treated my pregnant wife with extra care and love. Our 7-night stay at Baoase Luxury Resort was one of the most relaxing and memorable vacations my wife and I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were able to fully unwind and enjoy the resort’s beauty, privacy, and peaceful atmosphere. The accommodations were exceptional, the food outstanding, and the service consistently excellent. Our villa was exceptional. We did have minor issues with the TV and internet upon arrival, but the staff responded immediately and resolved everything quickly. What truly distinguishes Baoase is its sense of privacy and seclusion. The resort is quiet, uncrowded, and feels like a private tropical retreat. We would especially like to thank Liyanne and Judeska for their outstanding service. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care greatly enhanced our stay and reflect the exceptional hospitality that defines Baoase. While undoubtedly a luxury experience, the level of personal service, privacy, and attention to detail makes it feel truly priceless. We left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed, and would not hesitate to return to this very special place.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after giving Baoase management the opportunity to address our concerns privately and receiving no response, I feel it's important to share our experience. For a property that positions itself as one of the Caribbean's premier luxury resorts, our stay was deeply disappointing. The food was underwhelming, the resort felt disproportionately staffed for the level of service provided, and basic housekeeping was lacking. Cups sat on beach chairs for days without being cleared. The biggest surprise was the constant construction. Sandblasting and construction noise began around 7:30 every morning and continued throughout the day, making it difficult to enjoy breakfast or relax by the beach. This was never disclosed before our arrival. The condition of the main pool was equally concerning, with extensive algae buildup on the tile line and floor and a noticeable film on the surface of the water. We didn't feel comfortable even getting in. More than anything, we simply never felt welcomed. Luxury hospitality is about the experience, and unfortunately Baoase fell well short of the reputation and price point it commands.

### An Unforgettable Anniversary at Baoase My husband and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary at Baoase Luxury Resort, and it was truly one of the most extraordinary experiences we have ever shared. We arrived deeply in need of a chance to unplug from everyday life, and Baoase gave us exactly that, and so much more. From the moment we arrived, we felt an incredible sense of peace. The beauty and tranquility of the resort allowed us to slow down, reconnect with one another, and leave feeling genuinely relaxed and restored. The food was beyond delicious. Every meal was thoughtful, beautifully presented, and an absolute delight. What made the experience even more special, however, was the extraordinary level of personal attention. The team quickly learned our preferences, and our favorite drinks would often be prepared as they saw us walking up. We never felt like guests at a resort; we felt like friends being warmly welcomed and cared for from the very beginning. We are especially grateful to Karen, Assistant Manager of the Beach; Teresa, Bar Manager at Bida Island; Simone from Guest Experience; and Kiran, the Food and Beverage Director. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made our anniversary celebration unforgettable. Each of them went above and beyond, and our time at Baoase simply would not have been the same without them. We have raved about Baoase to all of our friends and family since returning home. It is a rare and special place, and truly beautiful beyond words, but made exceptional by the people who bring it to life. We are already dreaming of returning next year. Baoase did not just give us a wonderful vacation; it gave us meaningful time together that we will always treasure.

The hotel is beautiful. I just don’t see what all the amazing reviews are about. I’ve been to many luxury resorts in carribean (parrot cay, Nevis, little dix bay, cap jaluca, four seasons Anguilla etc) and this doesn’t even come close to the beauty of the other resorts. There is minimal beach. The hotel has few amenities. The pool is not existent. We are here from July 3-6. I think this is the most overhyped hotel experience I have ever had. The service is good.
