Baoase Luxury Resort

My wife and I stayed at Baoase for a week in a Beachfront Superior Pool Suite (room 205). The room was beautiful. Large, clean, and well thought-out. We had our own little beach and pool, which we made the most of every day. The weather was great. Snorkeling wasn't great, but the protected waters were calm and clear. The hotel had a great atmosphere during the day, but at night it was absolutely paradise. The details that were put into this resort do not go unnoticed, and the pictures online do not do it justice. Lunch and dinner were very good. We ate from the regular menu as well as on specialty nights, and we had no complaints. Surprisingly, breakfast, of all things, needs a little work. My wife and I never use the meal plans because we like to eat out for dinner, but the food at the hotel was just as good, if not better, than the few places we ate at. (Esty's Brasserie - just ok at best, Haven - good food and fun atmosphere, and Gouverneur de Rouville - good location but beyond terrible food) The staff was genuinely courteous and kind. Whenever and whatever you needed, they were there to happily assist. Housekeeping, including turn-down service, was excellent. We had a couple of massages, and they were very good. In my opinion, the resort is not set up for children, as it caters to couples and romance. In comparison, we have stayed at many other Caribbean hotels in this price range, some better, some worse. We definitely got more than we expected. The hotel and its staff are wonderful, and so was our vacation. We will definitely be back.

Best Location in Curacao. It was as if a part of paradise was carved out and placed here on the island. The decor took me even further away, giving me a Bali like feel, but with better beaches. I made no mistakes in choosing this for a mother daughter vacation. The grounds were immaculate, which brought out beauty in the surroundings with the clearest blue waters one could only imagine. It was the most peaceful resort I have ever encountered. We often felt like we were in our own bubble. It was quiet, but if you cared for some conversation with some mellowed out guest or staff if was there for you. The amenities were THEE BEST. The massage therapist have hands of an angel and all of the other offerings were right up there, matching the vibe. If heaven were a resort BAOASE would be it. The value matches the cost.

We booked a resort beach day pass at Baoase during our cruise stop in Curaçao, and it ended up being one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. We arrived by taxi around 9 a.m., and from the moment we got there, everything felt seamless. After the security guard confirmed our reservation, he escorted us to the beach area, where we met our beach butler, Ludy. From the moment we met him, we knew we were in good hands. Since we arrived early, we had our choice of cabanas and selected one closest to the inlet. The cabana setup was excellent, with two comfortable loungers, beach towels, storage and a button to alert Ludy if we needed anything. He also showed us the restrooms, which had wonderful showers and bath products, as well as the area where guests could borrow kayaks and get floaties and snorkel gear. Ludy then offered to bring us coffee and tea, and he returned with a beautiful setup that had everything we needed. I especially appreciated the loose-leaf tea selection, which was meant to steep in the pot and felt like a thoughtful touch. Although Ludy had to leave before we did, Bjorn took over and continued the same attentive level of service. Bjorn also let us know about the included three-course lunch and arranged for it to be served at a private table, which was a really nice touch. Our server, Andreen, was incredibly sweet and very attentive throughout. The food came out hot and fresh, and it was clear that a lot of pride went into both the preparation and presentation. Everything we had was delicious. The setting itself was stunning — peaceful, exclusive and even more picturesque than expected. The inlet made the water especially calm, and it was amazing to see so many fish in the crystal-clear water without even needing to snorkel. The water was a little chillier than we prefer, but that was obviously no fault of the resort. The day pass is definitely on the pricey side, but if you are looking for an elevated luxury experience in Curaçao, I do not think there is a better choice on the island. Unfortunately, we could not stay for the entire day because our cruise ship was leaving before the pass expired, but the experience was truly memorable from start to finish. We would absolutely visit Baoase again the next time we are in Curaçao.

Where do I begin!! The staff, the service, the opulence of the environment...every detail was intentional. We didn't even leave the property for 2 days but instead relaxed on our deck extending to the edge of the ocean and in our own pool. The location was a quick 20 minutes from the airport. Outside the property, you would never know how beautiful the inside would be. The atmosphere was an elevated luxury with beyond hospitable staff. Our room was secluded and quiet. No disturbances. The outside pool and rain shower were amazing. As the food was delectable. Your own beach, your own snorkeling, and access to a variety of water accessories. We will definitely come back. BAOASE luxury resort in Curacao is the absolutely best resort anywhere in the entire Caribbean and it is among the Top 40 resorts in the entire world. There are only 23 elegant rooms but they are so large, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The turquoise Caribbean waters beckon to you throughout the day. The entire large footprint of the resort is so tastefully designed with grand landscaping that attracts so many happily chirping tropical birds. The weather in Curacao year-round is about 85 degrees with low humidity and the water is swimmable all through the year. It's a bonus that Curacao is situated in the region that NEVER gets visited by hurricanes. We just completed our third trip there. And five nights and days were so relaxing that it felt more like a 10-day to two-week vacation. We love it so much that we're already planning a return in August and early December. We love adding the "All Inclusive" dining option for food and beverage throughout the day and night. And the food is scrumptious -- with special nights for Asian, Barbeque and others. Gorgeous as the entire resort is and wonderful as the food and Bevs, the actual Best Thing about Baoase resort is the incredibly warm, caring, talented staff. You'll get treated like royalty and VIPs by a staff that really cares about you -- from every member of the team. We felt like we've made great new friends who greet you wherever you go in the resort. Look up Baoase resort and take the plunge into the best beachy vacation you'll ever have. The accommodations are superb. We had the "Superior Beachfront Suite with 3 patios fronting on the Caribbean and a private pool, too!
