THE MOST ROMANTIC PLACE ON EARTH!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

My husband and I stayed at Baoase for our 5 year anniversary. From the minute we entered the big wooden doors, everything took our breath away! The resort is peaceful and private and we literally felt like we were in paradise. I really dont know were to start….the service, the staff, the food, the accommodation. IMMACULATE! Initially we were indecisive between the Banyan room and a Honeymoon Suite, and the sales agent, Lisanndra, asked us if we were celebrating anything special and we mentioned our anniversary. She suggested the latter and said that we were in for a treat, but boy oh boy, we had no idea that we would be in a completely renovated suite! We stayed in Honeymoon Suite (I remember 303) and it is even better than what we imagined!!!! During the management cocktail hour we had a chance to meet multiple members of the management. All of them are very nice and attentive persons. One of them even showed us the recently redesigned their villas. Which blew us away and are very beautiful and spacious. This made us already trying to plan our next stay with some friends. The food. OH THE FOOD! My gosh, where do I start? We were a little concerned that we saw “just” 2 restaurrant, but those concerns turned out to be really unnecessary. Theme nights offering a variety of flavors that kept changing and they even offered us the option to speak to the chef and costumize our meals with items that were not on the menus. Walking into our suite the last night and seeing the romantic flower setup.. Words just can't explain. The housekeeping them outdid themselves. Such a surprising way to end the day after massages and relaxation. We also explored the island with a resort tour guide, went strolling by ourselves in the city and even a private boattrip with their own boat. The best thing about this was having their own staff taking care of us and resort food options. The boat trip is a must when staying there. By the way the guest concierge arranged literally everything for us during our stay. It was very convenient being able to arrange it through messaging from whatsapp or messages. Even rides to pick us up from dinner on the town and car rental. The Guest Concierge was attentive in arranging everything in a timely manner. From drinks on the beach to quick rides to town by the security staff. We were never able to go on a honeymoon and a few years working non-stop, felt like revitalizing to finally catch a break. But this place literally made it feel like a romantic honeymoon where you can actually relax and everything will be taken care of by the staff that was always ready to make every request we had their to priority. Incomparable, that is THE way to describe Baoase. Definitely the best hidden gem in the Caribbean! We will truly miss Baoase and we look forward to coming back again. Thank you for making us feel special. This trip meant the world to us.

The ultimate in rest and relaxation!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Spent a week at Baoase in mid-April with my fiancée, daughter, and friend. The goal was to immerse ourselves in total relaxation, which we achieved with great success! This resort is top notch in every aspect… from our luxe private pool villa, to a stunning, impeccably maintained resort, to the world class service and food, there was not a single thing out of place, and we savored every minute! We opted for the all-inclusive package, which was worth every penny. We enjoyed exquisite meals in our villa, in our comfortable cabanas lagoon-side, at the culinary beach restaurant, at the sunset deck restaurant (spectacular sunsets!), and even a 5 course private dinner on the pier. Chef Renee was attentive and right on top of my daughter’s food allergy, offering to customize any meal we needed. The managers and staff were friendly and accommodating in every way! We could not have asked for a better experience, and look to return in the future! Bravo Baoase!

Day pass

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Just came from there! Beautiful resort. My friend and I got a day pass. If you choose not to stay, you can still enjoy the amenities and beach, not the pool. We received massages there as well and the food was really good. Day passes do not come with breakfast, only lunch. Also, as a pass member, you do not get a full breakfast menu. We selected the fancy ham/cheese sandwich. In addition, we ran into a family who was jumping off our cabana bed into the water. We were still present. Our items were still in the cabana. We asked the workers to tell the family to stop, but they did nothing about it. We had to resolve the issues ourselves, which could've gone left. Nonetheless, it's beautiful the workers are friendly and the experience is worth the money.

A day to remember.

If you want to indulge yourself, book a beach day and you won’t be disappointed. From the moment I arrived until I left the friendly staff spoiled me with drinks, fruit, bites and a delicious 3 course lunch. The sun loungers are divine with soft pillows and beach towels. Set on soft white sand at the secluded sea area. The beautiful decorated resort is a little paradise you must visit if you can. If you don’t have the possibility to book a room, book a day at the beach. It’s worth it.
