Excellent facility. Out condos were 5 minutes walking from the most amazing golf courses. The service, on the courses and condos were first rate. Just a great place. We played both courses and the River course was just being reddit for the LPGA tournament and was already outstanding.

I attended a conference at this resort in March 2017. My husband has mobility issues and the only way they could guarantee us a room without stairs was to put us in a handicapped room. The reservation was made three weeks before the event. The only room available at that time had one king sized bed. Beacause of my husband's health issues we can not share a bed. The only option they have us was to bring another set of pillows and sheets to the room. Since there was no couch, my only option was to make a pallet on the floor for the three nights we were there which was cold and uncomfortable. After sending back a survey from the resort, I received an apology but no attempt to explain how they should have handled the situation differently and no offer of compensation or even a discount on another stay. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

Two golf courses immaculate shape, Amazing facility, rooms were large and comfy, Food was amazing, Great visiting the city of Williamsburg, only 15 minutes away. The staff was more than helpful. The golf club house was well equipped with all you need for a day at the Plantation course or the Championship River Course .

I was here on business and booked a King Room - I was told at check in I was Upgraded to a Condo. Okay - not sure I consider this an upgrade because had I known in advance I would have gone shopping so I could have used the condo's kitchen. The condo was well appointed. Bathroom was on the small side and the sofa in the living area was very awkward. The resort is very spread out and getting to the business events required driving or waiting for a shuttle. I think if I was a golfer I would have been more impressed with the resort. Oh the onsite restaurant had no Irish beer for St Patty's day!!!

The resort is beautiful, however I felt the level of service did not warrant the cost per night. The additional amenities were not worth the extra $200 a night compared to 4 star hotels in the area. The restaurant had poor service and the food was over cooked. The golf and transportation were the only positives.
