Our firm uses many locations for public educational workshops. I want to commend Kingsmill on the excellent staff and team performance. We had a last minute addition to our function on April 19th. I emailed them before 8:30 and the changes were made before we arrived for our first session. Michael, their Conference Concierge, assisted me with any thing we needed and answered any questions our seminar attendees had about Kingsmill. Bryan Schmidt of PSAV had all the AV equipment set up and working to perfection. My firm is very particular about the way things are organized and set up and our first session went amazingly well. This was my first time working with Sarah Elizabeth and I appreciate meeting her before the meeting began. You should be very proud of your staff.

Kingsmill was at one time the go to resort when staying in the Williamsburg area. Now, my impression is that the rooms are dated, tired, and need a make over. Staff is overall polite and helpful, but during our stay we asked about taking the shuttle to a private home within the residence where our friends live, only to be told that the shuttle will not transport guests to private residences within the resort. The private home was 1.3 miles from the main house. Brunch on Sunday morning at Elements was good and the value acceptable, but the restaurant cappuccino machine was not operable.

I would come back again and again! Never slept so good, beautiful, friendly staff and very clean, spacious condo with everything you need. A great way to celebrate our anniversary! The grounds were beautiful and so much to see and do. Very close to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. The staff and other guest were all friendly. We look forward to returning in the near future.

We booked a spa weekend while visiting William and Mary. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. All the staff are friendly and go above and beyond. We arrived early before time for check in and decided to walk the grounds. We encountered Kevin at the River Pool. The pool doesn’t open until Memorial Day, but Kevin invited us in for a tour and explained how things operated and what all they were doing to get it ready for opening day. He certainly didn’t have to take his time to entertain us, but he was amazingly courteous. We rented the two bedroom condo on the banks of the James River. The condo was clean and up to date. The view of the river was gorgeous. The beds were beyond comfortable. The entire environment was restful and peace inducing. It makes it hard to return to the real world.

This was a road trip were we stayed at three different lodgings to spend 4 days in each location. Out of the three places we stayed, the Inn on Biltmore in NC and the Wentworth Mansion in South Carolina, I have to say this place is very disappointing to say the least. The front desk staff was not welcoming, the quality of the breakfast had no comparison to the Biltmore or the Mansion, the staff in the pro-shop as well as the housekeeping personnel was unfriendly. The bathroom is ridiculously small for the type of accommodations I booked (One bedroom river views condo.) The amenities inside the unit were non existent. The quality of the construction was awful, I could hear people talking upstairs and on the side, doors banging and feel the marching of whoever was walking upstairs. Don't book there unless is the third floor. Check your unit immediately you arrive; tv in the master bedroom was not working and the screens to the patio were off track.Best of luck with the staff. Not as friendly as I expected. I could mention more and more; but it is not worth it. Below my expectations.
