I almost don’t want to write this because I feel this place is a boaters best kept secret ! We came by boat from Virginia Beach and booked a slip in the marina. We’ve stayed at several locations throughout Hampton Roads and I must say that this was the most seamless experience yet! The marina manager Isaac and the staff were amazing. Communication was great - explicit instructions to our slip and once we tied up and checked in, we were able to use the resort just like a hotel guest! We had dinner at the restaurant at Marina. We watched the sunset and had an amazing pleasant day ! if you’re planning on traveling by boat, I’d highly recommend stop at Kingsmill. I wish we would’ve stayed another night. We did not engage in golf, tennis or spa facilities. We did eat at the restaurants stop by the ice cream shop and enjoy the lazy river pool (as a plus they had a DJ and some great activities poolside). Sunset was amazing, water and electric hook up for the boat were fantastic as we were staying aboard our boat in the rented Marina slip. We felt safe and welcomed - the marina is amazing.

My hubby and I had an AWESOME time! The Riverfront condo room was AMAZING! The food at Eagles was great! The grounds are beautiful! The Spa is very nice! The couple's massage was fabulous! The breakfast was awesome! Just an all-around awesome stay! We would absolutely go again and highly recommend staying and it was actually a staycation for us as we live basically an hour away from there. Great trip for families as well as Busch Gardens and Water Country are literally 5 minutes away.

The grounds are suitable for adults and teenagers, while the small children’s pool is good for a few hours. However, the hotel rooms are substandard and dirty. Regrettably, the “resort” failed to address the poor quality of the overnight stay.

Not worth the price. Grounds are lovely, but the rooms are subpar (dated, dingy, and oddly laid out). Kingsmill could use a serious glow up.

The company I work for books this for us on the weekend of our annual picnic at Busch Gardens. On Friday we golfed the River Course and conditions were perfect, Then we had a conference room for our dinner with the company. Great time, great staff.

All the comforts of home and the bedding and linens were way too comfortable! Clean and tidy. Our kids loved the whole experience.

Super Super Super service from the staff members we encountered. This is what brings us back twice a year. We LOVE the service.

My family and I recently returned from a 5 night stay at Kingsmill Resort. Our experience was terrific. The resort offered great tennis, golf, fishing, etc. -- so much to do even with a day or two at Colonial Williamsburg and the parks, that we were tempted to stay an extra day... I would recommend this resort without qualification to friends, family and to my company for sales meetings.
