Overall we enjoyed our stay. I wish we had the time to partake in more of the amenities. Next time we will try the spa and pool. Love the location. Minutes from Busch Gardens. The room was decent. No microwave. You have to get a condo for that. The beds were comfortable. We did have an issue with our first room's fridge not working, but we were quickly accommodated and given a new room and free breakfast vouchers. Both rooms had a balcony with a beautiful view. At breakfast our waitress Alexia was amazing. She was quick and attentive and always smiling. She had a glow about her. Definitely the nicest way to start our day. The kitchen staff was also really helpful and friendly. Side note. PLEASE get the nice lady who makes the omelets a new set of pans! The pans are very bent and uneven. I watched it slide off the burner and almost burn her several times. She still had a positive demeanor though but I felt so bad for her, trying to work like that. The food she made was amazing regardless. Id stay again, even if just for the staff. They are the 5th star in this review. Thank you.

Booked a two bedroom suite with this hotel for what was supposed to be an upscale thanksgiving celebration and wish I’d just gone somewhere else. First the room was nearly $800 for one night. I can tell that this place was the place to be ….20 years ago. Though spacious, the rooms are terribly outdated. The sink was cracked, old toilets, visibly patched tile and scratched kitchen cabinets. To top it off breakfast is not included and starts at about $23 per person. At this price point I expected so much more from this hotel. Especially considering the competition and pricing of nearby hotels where $800 would’ve paid for two rooms for 2-3 nights.

We stayed the weekend at The Estate at Kings Mill for my wife’s 60th Birthday with some of our closest friends. Danielle made sure our booking, catering, and accommodation details were completely to our liking. The house was beautiful, immaculate, and had amazing views from every room in the house. The house manager, Sunni, was incredibly pleasant and did everything possible to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The executive chef ‘s (Tony Friday) meals were exquisitely delicious. His friendly personality and demeanor created the perfect atmosphere for every meal. The rest of the staff were pleasant and made sure our stay was memorable. We had requested James to be our chauffeur and he kept us safe and on schedule with a pleasant smile and professional demeanor the entire stay. The spa, club house, golf course are top rate and the staff at each are friendly, pleasant and accommodating. We could not have made a better choice!

Off-season stay, but resort was amazing as always. Just starting to decorate for Christmas. Staff was amazing. Our riverfront condo which we've booked previously was equally amazing. Peaceful, spacious, great amenities, and view.

For the price we paid, there was no soap in the shower container it was empty but we didnt find out til we were in the shower, chips in the tub (looks like it was just painted), 2 paper cups for coffee, we could here walking around from the room above us, doors slamming as well. As an addition. Walking around the room you could feel holes/divets under the carpet. The safe did not work, there were no bottles of water (mid tier hotels even provide this). Want to make sure this doesnt seem like a complain post... towels were plentiful and nice and the food was great along with the drinks. We got a "river view room" which was nice to look over and the property and food/drink was nice. But this is far from being a "resort".

All the comforts of home and the bedding and linens were way too comfortable! Clean and tidy. Our kids loved the whole experience.

Super Super Super service from the staff members we encountered. This is what brings us back twice a year. We LOVE the service.

My family and I recently returned from a 5 night stay at Kingsmill Resort. Our experience was terrific. The resort offered great tennis, golf, fishing, etc. -- so much to do even with a day or two at Colonial Williamsburg and the parks, that we were tempted to stay an extra day... I would recommend this resort without qualification to friends, family and to my company for sales meetings.
