So disappointed with our room. It smelled of mold and mildew, the tv’s were not working properly, and the patio door screens weren’t even attached, just resting on some patio furniture. For the price we paid for our celebratory weekend, I would’ve expected a better room experience, certainly one without a horrible mildew smell that gave us headaches.

We stayed at this hotel for a birthday celebration. Rooms were small, outdated, dirty, and for two nights 850.00 was not worth it. Lamps did not have light bulbs, had to call for ice to be delivered, phone was not working, and beware, there is no resort hotel. You stay in quads on the grounds. Some OK size and some you can't walk it in. We got a kingsize bed and it was a small room. 2 nights was long enough. Bathrooms were outdated with sink and no vanity. Positive note, staff was friendly. Pet rooms add 75.00 a night for the pet. Not what I thought and should have researched more.

The resort is nice but feels tired and old. I was shocked at how plain the rooms were for the amount of $ we paid. It felt lower quality tgan Holiday Inn. You can tell that this used to be a luxury resort back in the day but sadly it isn’t any longer. We had a 2 bedroom condo and it is NOT a condo. It’s a 1 bedroom apartment with a connecting hotel room. The connecting room smelled musty, had a noisy fridge and a door going outside. Which is not how it was advertised. The service wasn’t too bad but I expected better. We really liked the marina and the gym, but the rest was lacking.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. I wish we had the time to partake in more of the amenities. Next time we will try the spa and pool. Love the location. Minutes from Busch Gardens. The room was decent. No microwave. You have to get a condo for that. The beds were comfortable. We did have an issue with our first room's fridge not working, but we were quickly accommodated and given a new room and free breakfast vouchers. Both rooms had a balcony with a beautiful view. At breakfast our waitress Alexia was amazing. She was quick and attentive and always smiling. She had a glow about her. Definitely the nicest way to start our day. The kitchen staff was also really helpful and friendly. Side note. PLEASE get the nice lady who makes the omelets a new set of pans! The pans are very bent and uneven. I watched it slide off the burner and almost burn her several times. She still had a positive demeanor though but I felt so bad for her, trying to work like that. The food she made was amazing regardless. Id stay again, even if just for the staff. They are the 5th star in this review. Thank you.

Booked a two bedroom suite with this hotel for what was supposed to be an upscale thanksgiving celebration and wish I’d just gone somewhere else. First the room was nearly $800 for one night. I can tell that this place was the place to be ….20 years ago. Though spacious, the rooms are terribly outdated. The sink was cracked, old toilets, visibly patched tile and scratched kitchen cabinets. To top it off breakfast is not included and starts at about $23 per person. At this price point I expected so much more from this hotel. Especially considering the competition and pricing of nearby hotels where $800 would’ve paid for two rooms for 2-3 nights.

All the comforts of home and the bedding and linens were way too comfortable! Clean and tidy. Our kids loved the whole experience.

Super Super Super service from the staff members we encountered. This is what brings us back twice a year. We LOVE the service.

My family and I recently returned from a 5 night stay at Kingsmill Resort. Our experience was terrific. The resort offered great tennis, golf, fishing, etc. -- so much to do even with a day or two at Colonial Williamsburg and the parks, that we were tempted to stay an extra day... I would recommend this resort without qualification to friends, family and to my company for sales meetings.
