My family participated in the jet skiing activity at the Marina. The Salesperson or Trainee Sam who works in the Marina was OUTSTANDING, helpful, nice, loving, kind, patience and HELPFUL! He was so knowledgeable and showed care and concern to KINGSMILLS Guests. Because of his excellent hospitality and his professional salesmanship in offering excellent activities our family has decided to rent a boat tomorrow for another activity. Ask, another special shout out to Zack for having a great personality to the guests and a great sense of humor.

My son and I just returned from a 3.5 day golf/Busch Gardens vacation and stay at Kingsmill and I wanted to leave an honest review of our stay there. PROS: - Nice size room, dated, but comfortable enough and nice to have a kitchen - Very friendly staff (special shout out to the waitress that works at Eagles and also did the golf cart service!) - texting the resort number they are almost instantaneous about picking you up and taking you places. It’s really pretty great. - both golf courses were enjoyable, in particular the river course, which was fantastic - resort grounds and surrounding neighborhoods well kept and pleasant - lazy River was pretty fun and the atmosphere is laid-back - the gym is brand new and very, very nice, but you have to remember to bring your resort card with you (nowhere else within the resort is this requirement) - overall value relative to what you are paying, I felt was appropriate CONS: - the food is definitely sub par. It is borderline not edible especially the breakfast at the main hotel. The only halfway decent meal we had was at Eagles and breakfast from the mill was passable, but not great. we went off campus one night (which I hadn’t planned on) and ordered Uber eats another. - the pool bar service is pretty poor. You’re better off just bringing a cooler with your own drinks. - there is no deep end at the pool, which was a big mistake and generally speaking, is a pretty small area for resort as large as this, and no poolside service - it seems like a lot of their staff are young / college age, which is fine but they’re not as attentive in some cases and experienced with service Overall, while I have been slightly critical, we did enjoy our stay but the accommodations you just have to know what you’re getting yourself into. We actually left a little early because the bed was so uncomfortable. I don’t think I would stay here for longer than three days. Good for a quick getaway

Kingsmill Resort offers a fantastic getaway for families, providing everything needed onsite, from food to relaxation. The kids were spoilt for choice with the pools, including the lazy river, jacuzzi, and regular pool. They also enjoyed the indoor pool for practicing swimming and the hotter afternoons. The breakfast options were diverse, and we had the pleasure of taking many beautiful walks on the grounds. We can’t wait to return!

My, Kingsmill advisor Katrina gave me the feeling of confidence I made the best decision for my Son to stay for his birthday celebration. It was a request he made when he recalled us staying as a family when he was younger. Katrina advised the computer was down. However, documented my concerns and assured me it will reflect in the notes when my son checks in. Explain the booking process giving me clarification all in a friendly tone. You could hear the kindness in her voice. Thank you Katrina! Mr. Ameen

This resort is huge and very nice when checking in and using accommodations. The fitness and spa building was beautiful and had all the bells and whistles. The river pool was relaxing and our kids had a blast (I would have given a 4 star rating just for that). All that being said, the food from The Mill to James Dining was just blah, burgers looked like dog food and bfast sandwiches at the Mill had no flavor. When trying to order food to go I couldn't get anyone to pick up the phone so we could order. Called 5-6 times and never could get through. We spent so much money on food while staying at the resort and it was not worth it! Rooms were dingy and dark, bugs everywhere and SUPER TINY! The beds and bathroom were super small and no body got much sleep but that wasn't the biggest problem. The worst part about the evenings was we all noticed doors opening throughout the night at different times and I had extremely vivid horrific dreams that woke me up all night and shook me to my core even into the next day. I had also closed and locked the back sliding door and I found it opened in the middle of night. We also had friends staying in another unit on the other side of the resort and they all had really bad dreams and couldn't sleep all night! So it wasn't just me. Overall, just really bad vibes in some of those buildings. So even though the staff was friendly, the experience I had in the room was enough to keep me far away from this resort. Bad vibes, bugs, small beds, and possibly haunted---nahhhh, I'll stay somewhere else next time.

Super Super Super service from the staff members we encountered. This is what brings us back twice a year. We LOVE the service.

My family and I recently returned from a 5 night stay at Kingsmill Resort. Our experience was terrific. The resort offered great tennis, golf, fishing, etc. -- so much to do even with a day or two at Colonial Williamsburg and the parks, that we were tempted to stay an extra day... I would recommend this resort without qualification to friends, family and to my company for sales meetings.
