The amenities were great, rooms were clean and nice. All and All a great place to stay. However, it was 11K for a week in essentially 3 hotel rooms connected with a living room and kitchen. The quality of the cabin was nice, but it was difficult to get in and out of the resort at 20 miles/hour and a LONG drive. The convenience was not there for quick runs to the grocery store or dinner. We would likely not stay here again given the value of the resort. We can rent a house in the area much more economically! It was however a beautiful, peaceful resort!

We went to Kingsmill last year and plan to return again with our two kids the last week of June this year. We CAN NOT wait! It's so relaxing...so many wonderful activities to choose from and how can you not love the beautiful views of the James. We love dinner at the Marina...the pool and lazy river. I'm hoping to be able to traverse the grounds to get to the pool from our room. My last minute twisted ankle may put a snag on our long enjoyable walks on the property...but really looking forward to visiting anyway. I also have to commend the staff! They are all friendly and courteous and go above-and beyond to ensure the guests have a relaxing/enjoyable time.

I stayed here with my family for three nights while visiting Busch Gardens. We stayed in a one bedroom condo - which was perfect for two kids and two adults. The facility was nice - great pool area and indoor pool as well. Beautiful views from the main restaurant and we had two great dinners there. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also, perfect location for visiting Busch Gardens, as it is around the corner and the hotel provides a regular shuttle to and from the park.

WE booker here a few months ago for a golf and relaxation getaway. MY husband wanted to play golf at the course and i wanted to see Colonial Williamsburg. He loved the courses and I enjoyed the quiet time and reliving a childhood visit to the area. The resort is lovely and met both of our needs Dinning options on-site were great. Condos are spacious and it was nice to have a kitchen to store some beverages and snacks. We especially loved dinner at the Marina restaurant with excellent service and food and watching the sun set over the James River

My husband and I and went for a one night getaway for our anniversary. I have to say I was a little disappointed. Part of the problem may have been it was a Thursday night and a little before the vacation season really picks up. The staff as a little aloof and seemed a little disengaged. Our room was average and we went to make some coffee in the in-room Keruig and there was old fungi infested water in it. I tried to call the front desk but nobody answered. I didn't try my cell phone to call he still didn't get an answer. Finally I called reservations and they were able to take my request to get a new coffee maker in the room. after about 45 minutes they brought a new one up. We went to the restaurant down by the marina for drinks. We got there at 4 o'clock when they opened. He didn't open the doors until about 10 after four and they saw us standing there but did not engage. It looked like they were prepping for the dinner crowd. We just have a drink and then asked if we could come back with a special bottle of wine that we had been saving to drink for three years. They said yes but it will cost us a $20 cork fee. On a positive note the bill was pretty comfortable and added in the coffee pot issues the room was clean. I guess the bottom line is that for $200 plus a night I expected a little more from the resort
