This is not a good place for a short stay. The Internet is horrible and the noise level can be bad. Clean and lovely so stay long enough to enjoy amenities in order to make it worth your while. Breakfast not included.

Kingsmill is by far a great vacation spot! everything you could need/want is on the resort and wonderful accommodations. Williamsburg is a great family focus city anyway but Kingsmill is the iceing on the cake! Worth it!

The resort has a fantastic location - slap bang in the middle of the historic area as well as theme parks. It is set on a larger gated community (though beware the community police force, who were somewhat rude on entry). It is set around a golf course and a tennis centre, which is of excellent quality. There are a huge amount of facilities - most of which we didn't get the chance to use as there is just so much to do. Rooms are set out in condo style and have great amenities and setup for a family. Ours was somewhat dark and there was quite a smell from the sinks - though housekeeping dealt with this. Wifi was a bit temperamental - not helped by the forced daily log out. There are several dining options, including the Grille, which has a great view over the river, as does Elements. The cafe (The Mill) was also a god option for breakfast. Some of the staff were very friendly, but the main reason for a 3 rating was that this was not consistent. We had a few experiences (in restaurants and front office) where staff could have been a lot more helpful and on occasion were actually pretty combative. Not a good move in the hospitality sector.

We pulled up to the resort and were extremely happy with the grounds. We were tired from a long, not so great 6 hours in the car but we ate a very good lunch at Eagles and were soon buzzed letting us know our room was ready. We got the one bedroom resort condo and weren't sure what to expect but we opened the door and the room was huge, more spacious than we ever thought we'd get. There is also a fireplace and a washer / dryer in the unit which was amazing to have...And the unit was all newly renovated beautifully ....We were thrilled with this room and the view of the golf course. We tried to get a river view but we still were quite happy with the gold course view room. The pool was the best, we spent every late afternoon there, kids loved it, ,and was a perfect size for a 10 year old and 7 year old. We did our thing, and didnt have to hover over the kids, they had their space without being able to go far or be unsafe. Perfect size pool gated in. The food/ drink service, bar area, fire pit, ping pong tables were great ! Kids loved the lazy river and so did we ! The sunsets and sky were amazing at night over the river. The whole resort is really beautiful and staff is great too.The shuttles run you anywhere pretty much. The Mill was super for coffee and snacks...And Bush Gardens is literally out the door. Its so close. This place really exceeded our expectations and we will absolutely be going back and the kids said so as well, despite the car ride which is saying a lot. Loved it. - Maybe go to a convenience store to load fridge with snacks, wine, beer, etc...There is not a store on main grounds.

it was a treat vacation. On scale of Disney but Busch Gardens instead of Disney. Very nice place, we splurged and got a 2 bedroom on river. We had rain almost every evening so the sunsets were not as good as we hoped for. The restaurants onsite are nothing special. The pools were really nice for all ages. The pools at the fitness building were much less crowded if you prefer that. Grocery store nearby was a great thing for us but our kitchen didn't have many things so we either had to buy things or work with what it had.
