Five nights of bliss - great room, excellent service, friendly, efficient staff. Beautiful, quiet surroundings, great garden, with a couple of geese, ducks & peacocks. Lovely swimming pool. Superb, generous breakfast. highly recommended.

2nd time here and even better than the last. Luxury at its finest can be hard to find in Myanmar (though the country is exquisite and I've been many times). Lovely pool, incredible staff, room, flowers, great bathtub, scrumptious breakfasts with champagne. The restaurant is one of the best in the city as well. It was June so when we'd had enough of the rain, all I did was call and they sent a DVD player and box of movies to the room - a treat when I consider many places I've stayed in Myanmar- no matter what luxury level. My only suggestion would be a covered terrace with some chairs and a table so you can be alone, sit outside and enjoy the garden view without getting wet during rainy season. So much better than any of the big hotels in the city. I've stayed at many Belmond's and this one exceeded expectation.

Beautiful hotel and excellent service. Most wonderful breakfast I have ever had in my life- the selection was so vast and we could have spent hours there. We went during the water festival and despite the town coming down to a standstill the hotel staff did what they could to accommodate our requests.

Hotel is beautiful and the staff service is excellent. Kudos to the entire team. The resident geese, ducks and peacocks add a dimension of whimsy to the stay. Breakfast is great, especially on weekends, and it's an easy cab ride from many of the eateries in Yangon and an easy 15 min walk to the Shwedagon Pagoda. An enjoyable stay.

This hotel is a no miss for who loves staying in historical hotels, this is not for who is looking at all "modern" facilities. The house is amazing, all teak, we have been in two different rooms (one at the beginning and the other at the end of our trip). both very large, beautifully decorated and spacious, beds were super comfortable! The customer care is in line with 5stars standards, we felt privileged customers! We loved the place, the house, the comfort and the staff was superlative! Definitively the best hotel in Myanmar!
