Incredible rooms with lots wood and space. Immaculately clean with great grounds. While it has all the modern amenities, it has "old world" charm. Everybody was friendly and helpful; the food was excellent. While it was not centrally located you could retire into your own little world.

Natural in town good decided and peaceful place in Yangon. Traditional and classic. Simple but different from the other. Please visit by yourself then you will know, how different they are. You will love this place.

Charming wooden hotel with a colonial 1800s atmosphere Plus: - amazing garden with lush vegetation, peacock, duck - an oasis of relax! - pool in the lush vegetation (you can swim for real it's big enough) - spa (Julia is far llong the best massage therapist I have ever had, and trust me I always visit spas) - super breakfast with choice - charming restaurant with view on pool and garden - super friendly staff Minus: - room spacious but a bit old and basic - food at restaurant can be good (try the hoven cooked beetroot with lentils) but many times it's only ok or needs to be improve (duck)

It was wonderful to return to this lovely hotel. As was the case 3 years ago we stayed here following another cruise on The Road to Mandalay and everything was as good as on our first stay. The rooms are very comfortable, food great and service personal and friendly. We both enjoyed exceptionally good treatments in the spa. The ambience throughout the hotel oozes tranquillity which is a very big bonus in a hectic city like Yangon. Just go, I doubt you will regret it!
