We arrived on Valentine's day to wonderful staff. Kendra at the office was a breath of fresh air; making sure we felt welcome and settled in our new home away from home. Dinner was delicious and we were able to meet the manager who came around to say goodnight and ask us how we were enjoying our stay. In the morning we had breakfast with a beach view under our own little thatched roof gazebo. We explored the island finding many little look out points with concrete love seats showing spectacular views of Fort Duvernette, Villa and the sunset. One of these lookout points became the spot where I was engaged..so it will always be "my spot." A romantic and enchanting island...a couple could ask for no more. We will return, of this I am sure.

This is our 5th visit to St. Vincent and our second stay at Young Island. You are greeted from the ferry ,a three minute boat ride from the "mainland", with a welcome drink. It is cold and welcoming. You are whisked right to your room after a quick stop at the front desk for check in. Your baggage awaits. Our room is right on the water with our own plunge pool, a sitting area with small fridge and coffee maker. In the other room is the bedroom and bath with outside shower. Lovely. We booked in for 8 nights with all meals included. The food is good, but can become tedious. The breakfast menu is the same everyday and lunch will have a three day rotation of the same dishes. Dinner is different every night. I tried the spa and Yvonne was such a delight, I booked a second massage my last day as well. Just too good to pass up. The grounds are beautiful and the large pool is inviting. The staff greets you by name after the first day. We feel so relaxed here and can't wait to return soon.

We stayed here for 3 nights and stayed in a room at the top of the hill which was a lovely setting but there were 120 steps which may not suit everyone. The room was well designed and had great views. Food/catering was lovely and the bread choice was superb. The weather was very wet whilst we were there which was a shame but there was plenty of shelter. It is quite private and cut off from the mainland (quick free shuttle ride) so you cannot walk/wander very far so we would suggest a maximum of 4/5 days here.

We arrived at Young Island on Christmas Eve, despite the fact that we had had a long journey we still managed to appreciate what we could see of the hotel. When we booked our holiday my other half put in a request for a certain room. Unfortunately we could not move into the room that he requested until the following day. On Christmas day we moved up the hill to our new cottage. We had an amazing view over the beach to the mainland. Although the room was similar to our previous room this one was in need of a little TLC. We explained our views to Bianca and for our second week we were on the move again - this time to an upgraded room with a plunge pool. This was the icing on the cake as far as I was concerned. We both had a full body massage which I would highly recommend. I don't think that I could criticise any member of staff, they were all amazing and were able to remember our little foibles. Thanks to the staff this was the best new year that I have spent (despite the headache the next day)

Just returned from a wonderful week of paradise at Young Island Resort. First quality food, gorgeous room with first class maid service and plentiful fluffy towels daily. All the staff are extremely helpful and really make you feel special. There are plenty of things to do but as we were only there a week we just enjoyed complete relaxation. The beach is white sand with crystal clear water ideal for snorkelling. The spa is wonderful too. All in all a fab Carribean break - lovely temperature hot but with a tropical breeze. We stayed in a cottage high o. The hill with spectacular views which we loved. Only regret - wish we had booked to stay longer. Special thanks to Bianca general manager and her team of lovely staff!
