We have been guests of Iadera for quite some time now. This year lots has changed. First of all staff at dinner and breakfast are excellent. They really know how to please a guest. Carlos is again the best! He works for 10 others. Extremely kind! There are some new "things". Every 5 meters new warning signs( they are also on every table by the pool) that guests must not reserve sun chairs. And if they do, their things will be put away. I dont think that the person who orderd this, understands the real problem of the chairs. The problem is not the reservation of the chairs but the people who use them. A lot of Senia guests, lots and lots of outsiders( locals,...),... do use them every day, of course then there is not enough room/ chairs for Iadera s guests. It would be much better if there would be more strict rules with this, instead of troubling and annoying regular guests if they put towels to the chair and they go for a walk. We also understand the Premuim package for Senia's but also because of that, guests of Iadera have to deal with unnecesarry rules in high season. It would also be great if the garbage around the pools and chairs would be picked! There are a lot of Senia' s guests here without paid package. It is simple for them as they use the same towels as in Iadera(they bring them with). And the biggest difference this year is the quantity of little children and thinking of their parents that their yelling and watering of others is a blessing for others. It is unbelievable how vehemently their parents react to kids behavior. They dont care. And the hotel also seemd to accept that. The hotel has become Diadora Two. Nobody says/cares nothing. We also have childreen, but i dare to say that they have learnt to respect the fact that they are not the only one on vacation. There is also a new selective rule; that you cant sit in the pool bar in swim suits. Employees warn some, guests they leave others-self important VIP's. I mean the bar is practicaly 1 meter from the pool. It would be much better if they warn guests who come to dinner in flipflops and shorts to change shoes and panta.

Falkensteiner Iadera is really a premium hotel with great service, mesmerising sunsets, excellent food and one of a kind hotel porter Filip! If you plan your trip to Croatian coast, Falkensteiner is a place to be.

+ room, "Black Spa" (spa with hammam, saunas, steam rooms etc.), massages, breakfast buffet, pub fare in restaurants (club sandwich, pizza) - diversity and quality of other food, particularly the faux fine dining dinner option was anything but worth its considerable price Overall, we had a nice week here at off-season rates below 200 €/night but even at those rates, the food choices need to be improved given that there is little choice beyond the three or four restaurants that are part of the hotel (and that share parts of their menu). Toward the end, we took Ubers two nights to escape to Zadar restaurants that provided much better value (and value for money!) but that's less fun when you're straight from a spa day and rather wouldn't leave the hotel complex again.

The setting is excellent and with lots of space which can be difficult to find on the coast of Croatia. Service was excellent to exceptional and being Croatian I know that is sometimes hard to find in my homeland. There was plenty of space for beach chairs and chairs in the shade, servicing of rooms was the best possible kind - invisible in anything but results. We only ate that the restaurant once and the food was very good even if by local standard probably expensive however that is completely to be expected. Overall I can recommend the experience completely.

We have been to this hotel for several years. From the beginning it was a relaxing, relaxing hotel with the perfect staff where you could relax. Today, this is the hotel for the kids who are jumping and running around. So holiday for parents with children super, for relaxing and quiet for couples without children is no. But I appreciate the work of CARLOS, who works for 5 others and without him we would probably wait for a drink still :-) ARRIVAL - But getting tired after a long journey was terrible. The Receptionist (NIKO?) Behaved like a 2 star, or did not behave. No smile, no welcome drink, but a change of reservation and a horrible behavior. This has ruined our vacation and we are sick of it - disappointing. I do not want to come to a 5 star hotel. And no excuse. So who has the premium platinum falkensteiner card, so it's bad. You have a discount and instead of the benefits you spoil your vacation, even if you have been a faithful guest falkensteiner for many years.Great disappointment with this :-(
