The place to stay in Zermatt
Zermatt is a lovely experience once you get there. It's not ideal the fact that you can only access by train. But, if you're planning to go there, there is nothing better than the Grand Hotel Zermatterhof. We stayed there for 1 week and went skiing daily. They offer ski valet and transportation to and from the train station. They have a lovely open air cafe and bar, which is the best in town

Superb food. Worth it!
We ate outside and had the Brasserie menu. This place isn’t cheap but it is quality. Worth every penny in my view. Engaged and attentive staff. Superb food (the fillet Rossini was delicious). Very good wine list by the glass. On a sunny evening, a table on the patio was just lovely.

Amazing Hotel
This is the best hotel in Zermatt. They pick you up in a horse and carriage. Rooms and breakfast are first rate.

Best ever experience
This hotel provides an extraordinary experience in all aspects. The ambience, the rooms, the service, the genuine helpfulness and competence of the staff. Food quality is excellent and the location is perfect. This is a "top drawer" experience.

excellent stay for an Grand Zermatt vacation.
Had a lovely 4 night stay here for my ski vacation in Zermatt. Great hotell, great location, good ski room with personal lokker for each room with drying facilities. beautiful room with stunning matterhorn view. great breakfast all in all a great stay and would be back for next winter season. I found the bed a bit hard, and pillows a bit dated,but I guess that's maybe more a personal preference.
