This is my go to place for an escape and some real relaxation - no matter what season it never disappoints, and please don't ever lose Mark at the front desk. He is the model of what real service is about.

My wife and I visited the Inn in April and absolutely loved it. It's a bit out of the way and in a very rural locale. In just a 2 day visit, we saw a large herd of deer munching in a field across the street, saw a large flock of turkeys in another field and actually had to stop while heading to dinner to let a dozen turkeys cross the road. The room was magnificent, a two level suite overlooking the ocean. All the comforts of home and a lot more. After checking in, the young lady at the desk insisted on carrying our luggage up to our room, which made me a little uncomfortable. I'm 6'1" and 250# and she's half my size. She was great, she also ran off and got us a bucket of ice. Later, a gentleman knocked on our door and gave us warm cookies and a bulletin showing weather, tides and local events. Everything that we encountered in those two days was perfect. It is now our new best place to visit in Maine. The restaurant was also excellent, but that's another review

I booked online the spa suite for two days in March. I got a great price because I signed up to be a rewards member. Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and since I was a rewards member, they upgraded me to a two bedroom cove suite which was very spacious. The beds were very comfortable. Even though the cost of the breakfast was very pricey, I thought it was worth it. However, the only problem I had with my experience staying there was the dinner from the restaurant. I checked in late in the evening and was hungry, so I ordered room service and the meal was way over priced and it was cold. The staff was very accommodating and offered to remove the meal from the bill which I was happy with. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Spa services excellent and very reasonably priced. Everyone at the Inn treats you as if they know you. Wonderful place for a respite away from everything. You never have to leave if you don’t want to given there is a lounge and restaurant within the Inn.

Everything about the Inn by the Sea was remarkable. The location was perfect and absolutely breathtaking. Eating a delicious meal while overlooking the ocean was one of the many things we enjoyed. We chose a Spa Room which was artfully designed and decorated. It was comfortable yet luxurious. The spa was fantastic. The hotel staff was professional, cordial and attentive!
