We have to return!
My daughter chose Bernardus as the venue for her wedding. Looking back at our 2-day stay, including the wedding and dinner, I can only say it was without a doubt, one of the most impressive displays of exquisite and professional hospitality, services, and employee warmth and competence I've ever experienced. It was a magical two days.

Amazing and exceptional Resort Lodge and spa!
This was our first time visiting the Monterey Carmel area and let me tell that the Bernardus lodge and spa did not disappoint! It was the most beautiful grounds and amazing room experience we have had in a while! The whole staff was friendly and quick to response to our request, The spa service was awesome, and my wife had an awesome time driving the convertible Mercedes that is offered on the property and no additional cost! We will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful stay.
We stayed five nights at Bernardus Lodge and Spa, and we keep a very good piece of memory of our stay in this beautiful lodge, located in a marvellous place, surrounded by the hills of Carmel Valley. Unfortunately, the beds were really to flexible, and such an hotel deserve better beds. If the restaurant for the breakfast was great, thanks to the chef and the team, we were disappointed by the quality of the meals at the restaurant in the evening. Otherwise, it is a beautiful place to stay. Thanks to Garet and Ashleig for their infos and kindness, and also to the team in charge of the vehicles and parking. Bst Rgds. Claude Cosquer.

Fantastic stay! Service was impeccable. Enjoyed the room, grounds and dining. Stayed in a room adjacent to the croquet court.

Excellent resort
Excellent, but pricey resort in the middle of Carmel Valley. Resort fee was never mentioned during reservation process and which I had to pay at the end. Food, breakfast and drinks in the restaurant are of normal prices. Resort comprises of several buildings and mail lobby building with the restaurant.

"The Bernardus Lodge was wonderful. My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend at the lodge and found it very relaxing, romantic and the service was beyond exceptional. They were attentive to every need and always made us feel like their top priority. We also visited the spa and had a wonderful experience. We will definitely go back!"
