Perfect place, perfect weather, perfect ambience and amenities. Bernardus is a hidden gem in the Carmel Valley that makes you feel like you are away from it all.

Perfect location, amazing staff, and amenities!
This is truly a remarkable property with amazing amenities. The staff was kind and gracious. The location was perfect with a short drive into Carmel by the Sea. Great place to stay and relax. The food and drinks were perfect. This was our first of hopefully many trips to this location. Again only complaint we had was that we had to leave and wanted to stay a lot longer.

Wonderful place for retreat!
We hosted a weekend retreat at Bernardus Lodge, and it was truly exceptional. From start to finish, Bernardus team made everything feel seamless and thoughtful. The staff was attentive, warm, and incredibly responsive, allowing us to focus fully on our program and community. The amenities were beautiful, the setting was restorative, and the food was consistently delicious!

Bernardus offers an excellent and relaxing experience.
The location is excellent. Beautiful area and just a few minutes drive to Carmel and Big Sur. We had a suite that was very comfortable and accommodated all our needs. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Cleanliness was excellent. Free valet parking and snacks/drinks provided in our suite. All around excellent experience during our stay.

"The Bernardus Lodge was wonderful. My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend at the lodge and found it very relaxing, romantic and the service was beyond exceptional. They were attentive to every need and always made us feel like their top priority. We also visited the spa and had a wonderful experience. We will definitely go back!"
