The French Quarter Inn exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by the friendly staff with champagne and the hospitality continued through our entire visit. They even helped us book a fantastic walking tour of historic Charleston homes. The rooms were clean and well appointed. And the food at the complimentary breakfast and happy hour were great. Very close walking distance to King Street and other destinations. Will be staying here for future trips to Charleston!

Probably the best experience we have ever had at a hotel. Room was very nice, hotel was convenient to walking to town and the market and the staff could not have been more helpful. Nice perks such as champagne at check in, nightly wine and appetizers and milk and cookies before bedtime.Turn down service in the evening. Recommend 100%.

We decided to make a mini vacation out of a trip to Charleston for a wedding and chose the French Quarter Inn for a home base. The front desk was very helpful in setting up the reservations a few weeks prior to the trip. Even better, they were very accomodating when I had to call to tell them our flight in had been canceled; they even took care of adjusting a restaurant reservation we had made. The hotel itself was three guest room floors built around an expansive central atrium that gives a very open and spacious feeling to the common areas. Breakfast is served on the second floor at comfortable tables around the central space and near the front desk. Evening social hours with wine at the bar adjacent to the breakfast area, cheese and other goodies allow guests to relax prior to walking to one of the many local (and delicious) restaurants. And they also serve milk and cookies in the same area later in the evening! The room was bright, spacious, well cared for and the mattress was one of the most comfortable that I've tried. I slept better in the French Quarter Inn than I had in a while. The accommodations were great. The service was professional and helpful. The hotel was tranquil. The location is adjacent to restaurants, a comedy theater next door and historic sites that Charleston is known for. Nicole was one of the hotel staff who welcomed us our first night and with whom I interacted most in making plans for restaurants, museums and plans for things to do in Charleston. She was friendly, knowledgeable, intimately familiar with the surroundings and helped us find our way to interesting experiences around the area. We are looking forward to our next trip!

Every year we celebrate our over 50 years of marriage by going to special place and staying at high end hotel. Charleston and the French Quarter Inn exceeded our high expectations.

I am a former chef and am now a catering director at a private country club. Being extremely picky and wanting the best possible accommodations and food - we were nothing but happy with French Quarter Inn!

My wife and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn on a Monday and Tuesday evening. As our second visit to Charleston, we wanted to enjoy the Battery area history and restaurants for a couple days. French Quarter Inn was fantastic! The staff really set the stage for a memorable and rejuvenating visit. Charleston really is a unique and wonderful city, and I highly recommend the French Quarter Inn for helping us take a little of Charleston with us.
