We stayed at the French Quarter Inn on a rainy nor'easter night in October and it was the best hotel experience we've ever had. We felt so lucky to have such a beautiful and comfortable room to enjoy on such a dreary day. We even got a chance to sit on the balcony when the clouds parted for a short while. The entire staff was welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay, from managing an early check-in as available, to us finding ourselves in a surprise complimentary upgrade when we arrived to our room. It truly was the nicest hotel room we'd ever stayed in and was a real treat for us while celebrating my husband's 60th birthday. Even though our room was right by the elevator, we never heard any noise at all. The hotel was very quiet. We appreciated the opportunity to chat with other guests over a nice glass of wine and a generous charcuterie service at the evening social hour before we headed out to dinner. The hotel won my husband over even more with a bedtime snack of cookies and milk upon our return, just before 10pm. I loved the availability of the Jelly Belly candies! Waking up to our choice of breakfast delivered to our room was a delicious start to our day; soft scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, lots of bacon, and duck fat roasted potatoes. In the morning we didn't feel rushed to leave; a check out time of noon allowed us to relax and soak up every possible minute of a stay that made us feel special and very pampered. Although we just left the hotel two days ago, we have already booked our next stay for my birthday in December. We can't wait to see the inn decorated for the holidays!

Just returned from our trip to Charleston and I can't give enough praise to the French Quarter Inn. The hotel is immaculate.Everyone from the front desk staff to the valet was very warm and welcoming. The location is perfect walking distance to everything. Our room was top notch, and kept beautifully tidy by our housekeeper Susan. The breakfast was plentiful and the wine and cheese as well as the evening " night cap" of cookies and milk was perfection. I don't think we have ever stayed in such a well appointed, friendly hotel. We hated to leave, but will definitely be back. Highly recommend the French Quarter Inn! Thank you again for such a memorable stay!

My wife and I recently stayed at the French Quarter Inn for our Anniversary. We had an amazing time here. Starting with champagne at check in, we knew we were in for a special stay. The room was large, clean, and beautifully appointed (and the bed was super comfortable). The hotel itself was also beautiful, and kept so clean. All staff were friendly, courteous, and willing to help. The hotel is located in a fabulous area, near shopping, restaurants, and all the touristy things there are to do in Charleston. What made our stay extra special, were all the amenities offered. The bountiful breakfast in the morning, afternoon wine and cheese, evening cookies, all day beverages (water, seltzer, lemonade, ice tea, coffee, tea, etc), and all day candies offered. It was these amenities which made our stay so amazing and special. It was also all the little details which makes such a difference in a vacation (ie wipes in the toilet area, make-up remove wipes, etc). We had the pleasure of meeting Carlo (the General Manager) at breakfast one morning. You can see what a great job he does, and how much he cares about the hotel, and the guests experience. It was so nice meeting Carlo and getting to know him. Our stay at the French Quarter Inn exceeded our expectations and we look forward to returning. Thank you for a special experience.

This was the second time that six couples from Missouri traveled to Charleston, SC, for pleasure. This hotel is exceptional. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the hotel service is impeccable, and the location in downtown Charleston is ideal. The breakfast buffet is so convenient and the food is delicious. The bar in the lobby is a perfect way to connect for cocktails. We had a need to coordinate with the concierge staff on several occasions and Kim and Hannah gave us excellent recommendations and made all of the arrangements for us. A stay at The French Quarter Inn is a pure delight.

When we arrived at the French Quarter Inn, Kim greeted us with champagne. She was welcoming, warm and helpful throughout our stay. Along with Kim, the bellmen and housekeeping staff provided exceptional service and made us feel at home! This charming and inviting Inn is beautifully decorated. It has an excellent location for touring the city and walking to restaurants. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts, wine and cheese receptions, and evening homemade cookies. This unique hotel adds so many special touches that made our first time in Charleston truly memorable. Our stay there exceeded our expectations. We look forward to returning.

I am a former chef and am now a catering director at a private country club. Being extremely picky and wanting the best possible accommodations and food - we were nothing but happy with French Quarter Inn!

My wife and I stayed at the French Quarter Inn on a Monday and Tuesday evening. As our second visit to Charleston, we wanted to enjoy the Battery area history and restaurants for a couple days. French Quarter Inn was fantastic! The staff really set the stage for a memorable and rejuvenating visit. Charleston really is a unique and wonderful city, and I highly recommend the French Quarter Inn for helping us take a little of Charleston with us.
