HarbourView Inn

The HarborView Inn was the perfect choice for our first trip to Charleston. We were able to walk everywhere, with a waterfront park and the famous Pineapple fountain across the street. The breakfast, brought to your room, was delicious, and the coffee was excellent. We enjoyed the wine reception and the 9 pm cookies also. Every staff member was helpful and friendly, rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean. We loved our stay!

We absolutely loved this hotel! Rooms are very spacious, clean and well appointed; great water view, bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was delivered every morning and was delicious! The location is ideal and is great for walking to shopping, parks and restaurants. The staff was amazing! They host a Happy Hour daily and milk and cookies at bedtime. We will definitely return the next time we are in town!

We stayed at the HarbourView Inn in Charleston during Christmas week. It was a pleasure staying on the property. Every member of the team, from the front desk and valet to breakfast and housekeeping, made a positive impression during our stay. We enjoyed happy hour with fellow travelers, joined a complimentary walking tour, and listened to the Christmas carolers in the beautiful lobby. The staff truly helped make our visit memorable.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of the historic district on the Cooper River . Valet parking at $42 per day. I think what we liked the most was the bed. It was very comfortable.

We stayed at the HarbourView Inn last week while visiting Charleston. This hotel is in a fabulous location for exploring the city with plenty of excellent restaurants within walking distance. My husband is somewhat disabled so I asked for a handicap accessible room. The room was very well laid out - there is a desk, a small table, a small refrigerator, safe and a credenza which holds the TV. The only issue with this room (room 213) is it sits behind the elevator so the noise from that elevator (which is old) is constant. There is no view from this room either. I am not sure if this is the only handicap accessible room they have but I would definitely ask them about this. Breakfast is included and you can have it served to you either in your room, in the common area, or on the rooftop (weather permitting). It was really cold while we were there so we did not go up on the rooftop but I am sure it is a lovely experience. They also have wine/cheese at 5:00 p.m. every day and cookies/milk at 9:00 p.m. every night. Aside from the many amenities this hotel offers what truly makes this hotel so special is the employees. Everyone we engaged with was helpful, professional and extremely friendly. Can’t wait to go back and I would highly recommend staying there.
