HarbourView Inn

We recently traveled to Charleston, SC for a milestone birthday and chose HarbourView Inn at 2 Vendue Range. It was wonderful - a perfect choice for us! If you are looking for a place to stay in Charleston, this is it! Somehow they manage to be both spacious and cozy. The rooms have a full complement of amenities, are comfortable, quiet and clean and the staff was always welcoming, helpful and friendly. We were able to choose our breakfast from a menu and have it delivered to our room at the time that was convenient for us. There was a generous variety of items to choose from and the food was delicious. We loved having a quiet, private breakfast in the soft bathrobes provided before starting our day. There was always coffee, tea and lemonade to sip as you pondered your next Charleston walk and even an M&M station! A water station with ice cold water is located in the lobby and was such a helpful thing to have available. In the afternoon a wine and cheese reception is given in the lobby before dinner time and then milk and cookies in the late evening - a perfect way to end the day. The HarbourView Inn is also situated in an ideal location for easy walks to the South of Broad area, to the Charleston Market or any of the nearby world class restaurants. And as the hotel’s name indicates - lovely views of the harbor and Waterfront Park Pier. Our room had beautiful harbor views and we were also able to enjoy sunset splendor and Old Charleston city views from the hotel’s rooftop seating. We have definitely found our new Charleston home base! @hvicharleston

Amazing service and great location. I love the charm this small boutique feel of this place. Great location and love they offer free car charging. The valet guy, wish I got his name, was great. Definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful boutique hotel. Oozes charm. Great location, within waking distance of so many sites and restaurants yet it still feels slightly removed from the "center" of town. Staff was superb. No restaurant or health club but that's the point. It's understated, charming, quiet, modest, peaceful, relaxing. You really feel like you are getting away.

From the moment you pull up to the hotel everyone just so friendly and helpful. The free continental breakfast will be served to you in your room if you prefer and it was on time each day. Great location to walk to restaurants, shops and historic sites. At night the rooms are so quiet, I couldn’t hear anything and they have a sound machine beside the bed that added the finishing touch. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and provided much needed rest and relaxation. The rooms are spotless with a great rainfall shower. We will definitely be back to enjoy another weekend there. The HarborView Inn was the perfect choice for our first trip to Charleston. We were able to walk everywhere, with a waterfront park and the famous Pineapple fountain across the street. The breakfast, brought to your room, was delicious, and the coffee was excellent. We enjoyed the wine reception and the 9 pm cookies also. Every staff member was helpful and friendly, rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean. We loved our stay!
