HarbourView Inn

Wanted to be close to the water and old town Charleston this location is perfect for that. The hotel is quiet, close to everything including the central market. It’s surrounded by great restaurants. The staff is above and beyond any staff I have seen at other places that we have frequented . They’re always there to help. They also have free water available in the lobby, which is awesome.

We have vacationed at Charleston over seven times and have stayed at the Harbour View Inn each time. It is perfectly located center Downtown Charleston at a perfect spot. You can walk to many restaurants and sight. Its not a "stuffy" standoff-ish place but family oriented The staff is always cheery, polite and accommodating. We took our grandson who likes American history and who likes chess, they had a chess board in the Atrium and Don, one of the staff, played chess with him. We will always stay here when we go to Charleston Jim & Nancy, Rochester, NY

If I could give this Inn 20 stars I would! Excellent service, beautiful accommodations, great location for a first time visit to Charleston. If they had a balcony off my room it would have been perfect but I can’t say enough nice things about this place. The bed was soooo comfy and the pillows were the best. Room service for breakfast was delivered on time requested and so elegantly. At 5:00 each evening there is wine and cheese and a spread of apps in the lobby to enjoy! Also an M and M bar for a sweet craving anytime!! We stayed in the historic wing- beautiful, spacious room. Would go back in a heartbeat!

This is a lovely old hotel in a great position near the harbour. Because it’s old the rooms are huge, well, ours was. Two double beds, plenty of storage space, good WiFi, reasonable breakfast Here is a tip, because it took us a couple of days to get this figured out. When you arrive, they give you your breakfast menu for tomorrow. This needs to be filled in and left on your bedroom door that evening. You allocate where you want breakfast and what time. Normally, they call you in your room when they’re ready for you, as space is a little restricted for the total number of occupants. All absolutely not a problem, just need to know. Loved the wine and cheese every evening at 5-6. A bit of social time. Then milk and cookies till bed time. Coffee and tea are set up with today’s paper in the Atrium from at least 6am… could be earlier. Lovely team here!

We enjoyed our stay at the Harbor View Inn. The staff was outstanding but Jodi was beyond our expectations with her courtesy, kindness and professionalism.
