HarbourView Inn

What a wonderful location and beautifully appointed hotel right on the harbor for walking all around the historical parts of Charleston and also accessing tours. The hotel staff is first rate and it started right with the front desk. My occasion for this trip was to meet up for a mini reunion with 20+ of my Annapolis classmates. HarbourView Inn was the perfect place for visiting with each other on the rooftop terrace. The breakfast selection was ideal and also a cool option of whether taking it the room or down in a lounge area. I highly recommend HarbourView for a memorable "base of operations" to explore Charleston or even to just enjoy the area.

We were exceptionally pleased with the HarborView Inn. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly; and breakfasts were delivered to your room. What else do you need? Ah, yes...location! Right on the water.

We stayed here last October, so yes, almost a year ago, but better a late review than no review!!! We had EXCEPTIONAL service. The staff was so friendly and helpful, as well as professional. We were welcomed in such a warm way, by all the staff, but especially Doug, that we felt like we were in the lap of Southern hospitality as soon as we set foot in this hotel. Room was lovely and comfortable, location was perfection by the water, everything we wanted to do was walking distance, more or less. The snacks and drinks at happy hour were so fun and added some merriment to our stay. I travel quite a bit, typically for just a weekend here and there, so I have enough exposure to hotels and hotel staff to confidently say that the level of service stood out. And the building itself is unique with lovely little details. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

From the moment you pull up to valet park you are treated as special visitors! You can have a rooftop breakfast or on your room, happy wine hour, warm cookies at night! The rooms are beautiful and all your needs are met. We have stayed here many times and always feel the warm welcome on our return!

We had the best time celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary at the Harbour View Inn. We were well taken care of by the staff. Complimentary breakfast delivered to our room every morning was delicious. They also offer a Wine and Cheese hour and Milk and Cookies every night. The location is great with many attractions and so much history to see within walking distance. We were definitely be back.
