Southern hospitality at its best in this gem of a hotel in Charleston
I spent 5 nights at the HarbourView Inn in Charleston for a family trip. The hotel is located centrally in the historic part of town, near all important sites and restaurants. It is a beautiful hotel, with very welcoming lobby and an atrium area. Parking is available with valet (there 24 hours a day) or self parking in a large public garage just behind the hotel. Staff is very helpful, they have a walking tour of the hotel/nearby fountain twice a week, wine and cheese to follow. They have milk and cookies each night at 9 pm, as well as 24 hours a day coffee and iced beverages in the atrium area. They also have 3 large dispensers of candies by the lobby, very popular with children and adults alike. Breakfast is with high quality pastries and breads and is served by orders placed on your door the night before; it can be in your room, the atrium/lobby area or on the top terrace. Rooms are quiet, very large by any standard (we had a double queen and a super large corner king size room), bathrooms are spotless with good toiletries and decor. Beds were comfortable, though our mattress was a little too soft for me. The hotel had an excellent price/value ratio, especially compared to so many other options in town. Charleston has fierce competition for hotels, but this one for us was spot on. I would return here in a heartbeat!

The staff and accommodations are fabulous! Truly enjoyed all the pampering! Cheese and wine reception, cookies and milk to top off the evening and a wonderful breakfast!

The best hotel in Charleston, SC.
We just spent the last week at the Harborview Inn. The visit was the best. The service was outstanding. From the valets top the front desk personnel to the housekeeping staff, everyone provided great service. It would be impossible to single out any one individual for special notice. We will be staying at the Harborview Inn again in the future.

Harbourview Inn specialized in customer service. The small touches and beautiful views made our first trip to Historic Charleston a Fantastic Visit! They were centrally located and always gave us great recommendations! Highly recommend!

Harborview Inn a great place to stay
Wonderful place to stay when visiting Charleston SC. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to many fine restaurants and nearby attractions. Room was clean and comfortable. Amenities were a nice bonus to our stay.
