HarbourView Inn

We had such a wonderful stay at HarbourView Inn. The location couldn't have been better. We were able to walk to so many of Charleston's best restaurants, shops, and waterfront spots, which meant we parked the car and enjoyed the city on foot. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and incredibly quiet despite overlooking the waterfront fountain with lots of people. The bed was one of those that makes you want to hit snooze just one more time, and we loved starting the morning with breakfast in bed while reading an actual newspaper. It felt like such a simple luxury. The room also included a Dohm white noise machine that we LOVED! One of our favorite parts of the stay was all of the thoughtful extras. The afternoon wine and cheese reception was a nice way to unwind after exploring the city, and ending the evening with fresh milk and cookies was a fun touch that made the experience feel even more personal. The breakfast was delivered to our room, and the second morning, to the rooftop terrace- we loved both experiences! Let's not forget 24/7 m&ms and Skittles available on a sidebar in the main reception area! We felt like kids in the best way! They also have bikes available to pedal around Charleston, see many of the historic locations, and enjoy the seabreeze while riding. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. You can tell they care about making guests feel at home. If you're looking for a hotel that's within walking distance of Charleston's historic district, offers thoughtful amenities, and makes it easy to slow down and enjoy the city, HarbourView Inn is an easy recommendation. We'd happily stay here again!

Stay here!!!! I can’t say enough about this amazing hotel!! I have stayed at alot of beautiful grande luxury hotels but they don’t compare to this hotel. What sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service!! Every staff member we encountered was outstanding! We were taken care of and pampered the whole time. Breakfast was brought to our room every morning with a smile! Served on a gorgeous large tray and beautifully presented, we had breakfast in bed many mornings and on our balcony overlooking Charleston Harbor other mornings. You can also get it delivered to the rooftop terrace or the lounge. Early evenings we enjoyed wine and charcuterie in the gorgeous lounge. And headed down to the lobby for freshly baked cookies before bed. The room was clean, lovely, elegant, well appointed and very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed getting cozy in front of the fireplace with our delicious cookies! Such a treat. The location was perfect! A close walk to everything! The view was gorgeous which we got to enjoy on our full balcony. Valet was wonderful. We never had to wait for our car! They were on the ball!! I don’t know why anyone would stay anywhere but here. I highly recommend the Premium King Balcony room!! Stay here! You will NOT be disappointed!!

Wonderful property, excellent staff.

Amazing! Check in was smooth, valet was awesome. Room was clean; bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delivered to our room and the lady was so sweet. She even called prior to arrival and informed us that should we need anything else, then we can just call. Checking out was easy. Contacted desk and they offered assistance with luggage and car was brought around quickly. Convenient location and within walking distance to many things.

My wife and I spent July 4th weekend at the Harborview Inn to celebrate our 35th Anniversary and had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The service was both friendly and exceptional and helped make the weekend very special and enjoyable. Even before our visit, Kierra helped me book the perfect room and even sent champagne and strawberries - great touch! Sam at the front desk was always thoughtful and helpful. And Jacob and Don were always ready to help with luggage, the car, or anything else we needed. They have tea, lemonade, water and other beverages and snacks always available, an excellent hors d'oeuvre hour in the late afternoon, and warm fresh cookies at 9PM. They also have a wonderful rooftop lounge with a great view of the harbor and park, so regardless of what room you stay in you'll have the chance to enjoy the view! It's also close to carriage rides, dinner cruise pickup points, the market, and many other attractions. I highly recommend this wonderful place to stay!
