Exceeded expectations!!
This hotel is what made our experience so wonderful on our vacation to Charleston. The location is perfect and the views of the sun coming up on the water every morning were breathtaking. The staff is so friendly and helpful and there are so many perks included. Delicious breakfast delivered to your room (or anywhere you prefer!) every morning with tons of different options. Cheese and crackers and charcuterie snacks every day at 5 (free wine too for those who drink). And the absolute best was the warm, freshly baked cookies and milk every night at 9 PM! I still drool thinking about those cookies! When we go back to visit Charleston, we will most definitely be staying at this hotel again! It exceeded our expectations.

This hotel is excellent! I felt like I was in pampered luxury. It was a first class experience in every aspect. I would highly recommend.

Amazing stay with great hospitality!
We stayed here for my birthday in September! This was our first visit to this historic and beautiful hotel! Everything was amazing from the welcoming and friendly staff to the hotel itself! The hospitality was top notch and we'll definitely be back to visit!

Saved by the staff!
My second time staying there. Wonderful, caring and warm staff. Front end staff really aim to help. I had an unexpected early departure as well as a problem with a tour org. The ladies in front helped with the tour org. Douglas, as always, really stepped up to help me and calm me in a trying time. I hope to return again.
