HarbourView Inn

I’ve been to Charleston many times and I always thought the Harbour View Inn looked like a great place to stay. I got the chance to stay there a few months ago just for one night. It was the best hotel experience ever. If it wasn’t for being in Charleston I would have never left my room. I was on the top floor with a balcony and the view of the harbor was amazing. The decor was bright and fresh and even the pictures on the walls were beautiful and fit the room perfectly. It was spacious and comfortable with a table and chairs set right in front of the balcony to enjoy the view. They had complimentary drinks and charcuterie in the evening and complimentary breakfast that you could have served in my room to keep enjoying that view. Breakfast was impressive! I would like to know who made that perfect croissant.🥐 I got to linger over breakfast with the sounds of the city and the best view in the house. I didn’t want to leave. The staff were amazing and made me feel like they knew this trip was special..Thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and staff! My husband and I were visiting and celebrating our 10 year anniversary and we're so glad we decided to stay at the HarbourView Inn. As soon as we pulled up, the valet service and bellman were so nice and helpful. Our luggage was taken immediately up to our room and laid out in appropriate spots for us. We received the same great service at check in, where they upgraded our room to a suite and comped our daily parking fee for our anniversary stay. And WOW our room was beautiful and clean, with an amazing view of the harbour from our balcony. And a complimentary bottle of wine was waiting for us to celebrate! The location of the hotel was perfect - directly across the street from the waterfront park and within a short walking distance to so many restaurants and sites in the French Quarter. Any yet, it still felt like the hotel was in a quiet, safe corner, away from the heavier crowds of people. They provided complimentary breakfast and coffee delivered to our room every morning at the time we desired. We really enjoyed the wine and cheese cocktail hour each evening at 5pm. Our room was well taken care of and restocked every day with necessities by the cleaning staff. We had the most amazing trip to Charleston and we owe a lot of that to this hotel. Thank you so much and the next time we come back, we wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Absolutely perfect! The HarbourView Inn is top notch! Perfect location, stellar service and historic charm! The staff is incredibly engaging. The lobby is like a cozy living room where we were served wine and cheese in the evening and milk and cookies at night. Breakfast was included and could be delivered to the room or the rooftop patio. It was plentiful and delicious. Our room was luxurious and super comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This was my first trip post-partum without my nugget - a much needed girl's trip. The Harborview was located in a walkable part of the city, the best was EPIC, and the breakfast was to die for. We were able to adventure out with ease and the staff was welcoming and always acknowledged us as we came and went. I arrived a bit early and they called me to let me know I could check-in a bit early to have the first of many naps! The security was also great, the nightly milk and cookies and 24 hour coffee and tea bar is going to make it hard for me to stay at another hotel in the future. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go back!

We had such a wonderful stay at HarbourView Inn! We were there for our very first staff retreat, and the warmth and hospitality we experienced made an already special time together even more of a blessing. A special shout-out to Sam at the front desk and Jacob and Noah with valet service. They were so kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay and truly made us feel taken care of. And all the little extras! HarbourView really has thought of everything—the beverage and coffee bars, cold bottles of water, candy dispensers throughout the day, breakfast in our room or out on the terrace, wine and cheese before dinner, and cookies and milk before bed. Every time we turned around, there seemed to be another thoughtful touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you, HarbourView, for taking such wonderful care of our staff and helping make our first retreat so memorable. Your warm hospitality was such a gift to us. We are already talking about how much we would love to come back!
