Very elegant hotel in a historic building! We worked on our reservation directly with the GM Pietro, his professionalism was unparalleled! The hotel itself is located in the heart of the French quarter so you can walk everywhere congruent with a plethora of dining options within a “stone-throw” distance. We had their king suite with an attached living room which was awesome! Look no further and stay at the Vendue!!

‘‘This an awesome venue with a wonderful ambience , superb location , beautiful art and a great staff. The location is perfect and the roof top bar area is a real treat and happening. The breakfast was great and included with the rate. We will be back soon to enjoy this”jewel” along with all the amenities that go along with it.

This wonderful boutique hotel is located in the center of everything. You are a very quick walk to anything you would want to do. Restaurants, bars, shopping, the battery, South of Broad homes and gardens, waterfront park. No need for a car! If you want to bike around town - these are complementary. If you only want a light breakfast because you over indulged the night before - they offer complementary fruit, pastries, coffee etc. The bar in the lobby is wonderful. Great live entertainment with jazzy combos. A bartender who takes pride in his work who will craft you a cocktail tailored to your preferences. Wonderful wait staff who have great attitudes and personalities. Delicious appetizers to complement your libations. The bell staff is exemplary. They go out of their way to anticipate your needs. Mark is my favorite-give the guy a raise. Plus...the halls and lobby are packed with beautiful contemporary art. The Vendue is the only hotel I would consider.

My husband and I stayed at the Vendue for our 25th anniversary. First time in Charleston, first time at the Vendue. We had a wonderful visit! The staff was kind and very helpful. We were given a complimentary bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Our room was beautiful! We really enjoyed it!

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. What makes it extra special is the art throughout the hotel, including your room. We felt we were in an art gallery! Everyone in the hotel was very accommodating. They even have bicycles that you can borrow to tour the city. Being a few steps from the water was also special.
