Amazing hotel in an amazing city!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 23 hours ago

My husband and I absolutely loved this hotel! It made our first trip to Charleston just perfect! The décor is amazing, the staff is so kind and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. Matt, our concierge at check-in, answered all our questions, gave us lots of recommendations for places to eat and set us up with his preferred transportation service to take us on a scenic points of interest drive outside of the city. Every morning we woke to have a goodie bag of fresh croissants, muffins and fruit on our door, and raspberry macarons in our room post-room tidy. I will absolutely stay there again. The location is key-water to your right, the best restaurants to the left. And the rooftop bar was just one more extra plus- JB and Kevin took good care of us!

Wonderful holiday weekend at the Enclave

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

For my first time in Charleston the Enclave at the Vendue was the perfect place to stay! I was greeted by Harvey and Sarah and they were able to arrange for an early check in which was amazing after such an early start to the day. The whole weekend Sarah and Harvey were so helpful, attentive, kind and make the whole experience wonderful! So many walkable areas as well: waterfront park and the battery provided such great sunrise and sunset walks, of course Charleston market, and King St for the shopping and so many places to eat and drink! Will definitely be going back the Enclave when heading back to Charleston.

Worth the splurge.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

This was a bit of a splurge as I purchased for my wife for Christmas. It was very worth it. Everything was over-the-top — room and service. The “little extras” like snacks, breakfast rolls, cookies and milk, brought a bright spot each time. The location was central to everything.

Love the Art Hotel and its central location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

We LOVED this hotel and HIGHLY recommend it! The location is in the heart of old town. We had reservations at several top restaurants that I made before we arrived and they were all within a couple of blocks. Our reservations for the first night were less than a block away! We were also steps away from the waterfront park. Location is a big deal and this hotel is in the best spot. We decided not to rent a car on this trip and that was also a great decision since we could walk just about everywhere we wanted to go. BUT, location is not what sets this hotel apart. It is an "art hotel" and that was so fun. There is no front desk to check in; they just have staff wandering the lobby area with tablets to check you in. The focus of the entire place is the art and it changes daily. The first day we wandered and looked at the painting and sculptures and furniture. Then the next day when we came down, I noticed that one piece was different. On closer inspection, several pieces had been changed out and moved around. It became a bit like a scavenger hunt to see what was new! I haven't even mentioned the rooftop bar, award-winning restaurant, champagne reception, and art tours. Really a great place to stay and explore!
