The Vendue

Wonderful hotel with exceptional service and superb art everywhere. We loved our room (203) with its gas fireplace and double showers. The sexy vibe of red lacquer everywhere feels like a Loubouton stiletto come to life! The cookies every night were a sweet, lovely surprise. The only item which was less than perfect was the elevators that moved slower than a snails pace. Luckily we found the stairs and used those but they were kind of rundown too.

From the moment we stepped through the beautiful red door, The Vendue far exceeded our expectations. Greeted with a glass of champagne, it was as if we were a part of the lovely artwork. The room was generous and spoke to my Francophile ❤️. Warm muffins & fruit in the morning, milk & cookies before bed. The staff friendly, attentive & oh so helpful. We could not have asked for a better experience on our girls trip. Although now home, I’m still longing for a piece of the enchanting artwork, original, edgy and captivating. If ever I find myself back in Charleston, without hesitation, I’m staying at The Vendue.

Great place to stay. Enjoyed the location, daily breakfast bag, art work and rooftop bar. Room was spacious, housekeeping attentive.

As soon as we arrived the Valet greeted us. I have never taken photo’s of a hotel but this one I did. It is just beautiful. The focus on the interior is amazing artwork. The art gallery is open for guests to browse. Our room was gorgeous. A bottle of wine was waiting for us. The hotel has a high class restaurant but affordable. There is also a roof top bar. Lots of very helpful staff. It is very casual and welcoming for families. That too, provides a lovely menu.
