Our room was wonderful. We had a nice mixture of old and new (beautiful old wood floors). The staff could not have been more attentive but not intrusive. The continental breakfast was anything but. Fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, muffins, toast, coffees, teas, and much more. Central location to what's to do in Charleston. Will return, without a doubt.

Rooms are small but comfortable. Quirky artwork around the hotel is great but be aware this means you might be woken early by a combination of strangers commenting on the artwork outside your room and the cleaning staff yelling across the hall to one another. Generally though, the staff were very pleasant and efficient but there were a few exceptions. The mornings were pretty hit and miss - staff very slow in topping up breakfast dishes even when it was clear that e.g. ALL of the fresh fruit bows were empty at 8am and at one point actually ran out of sugar and had to send someone out to buy some - very odd for a hotel of this standard. Location is great - close to some fantastic restaurants. Not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in but I’d probably look at other options for a return trip.

The art hotel is a great location and the displays are quite interesting. The rooftop is lively and the staff friendly. The rooms are all different and the kings are comfortable but the lighting is a little dim. The location is hard to beat and you can walk to restaurants, galleries, and shopping. A short Uber gets you anywhere uptown. This one is worth a visit.

The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was immaculate upon arrival, and the amenities were great. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a higher end hotel stay at while in Charleston. The fireplace by the bathtub was an added bonus that made taking a bath that much more relaxing. Complimentary champagne during check in was a nice bonus as well.

Very comfortable accommodations and the entire staff was super friendly. Only in town for one night but they helped with arrangements for eating and other touristy things. Great view from their rooftop lounge.
