As soon as we arrived the Valet greeted us. I have never taken photo’s of a hotel but this one I did. It is just beautiful. The focus on the interior is amazing artwork. The art gallery is open for guests to browse. Our room was gorgeous. A bottle of wine was waiting for us. The hotel has a high class restaurant but affordable. There is also a roof top bar. Lots of very helpful staff. It is very casual and welcoming for families. That too, provides a lovely menu.

Incredible experience. I was recommended by a friend to stay here. I surprised my husband with a birthday trip this weekend. We have loved getting away to Charleston for the last 30yrs as it’s a quick 3.5hr drive from where we live in Charlotte. Charleston has a special place in my heart. I spent summers here visiting my grandparents, roaming the streets downtown with my only slightly older aunts and uncles. It seems that the peninsula has exploded over the past 5 years and every comfortable…read affordable…old haunt downtown has become the newest, swankiest….read get a 2nd mortgage….out of reach $500,$600,$700,$900,$1200/night stay. I was taken back by the affordability of The Enclave at Vendue Inn. 2 nights total including valet which runs $49/night all said and done…every tax that’s added on….came to $690. And it was a holiday weekend! Labor Day. They even upgraded our room before we arrived. I guess it was available so they did it as a courtesy. I got an email that our reservation had been modified to a King room at no additional charge. This may sound funny but it smells divine!!! Prosecco and cookies waiting in the lobby in the PM. Cheery yellow accents everywhere! Bottled water readily available in a help yourself fridge. Self serve coffee and banana bread in the AM. A bag of muffins, croissants, butter & jam on your doorknob greets you every morning! Whimsical art in the rooms! Art galleries incorporated into the property with works from a local artist. You also have access to all the Vendue has to offer across the street. The infamous rooftop bar and their restaurant, The Revival. We received $50 credit vouchers to use at each location but had prior plans so we didn’t get to experience everything offered including an afternoon cocktail reception with guided tour of the art. Checked out this morning and I’m already looking at my calendar for when we can go back. Thank you, Enclave, for giving me back my happy place! XO

The Vendue was an interesting and very well-run hotel. Hotel stafg was curtious, friendly and definite on yop of things. We loved the rooftop bar and went there every evening we were there. The hotel was in walking distance of so much that we wanted to see and do it was nice yo nit have to hop in the car multiple times a day. We definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay on Charleston and will consider it for our next trip there
