Spent 3 nights at the Vendue Hotel, what an amazing experience! We had room #221, which was on the same side as the hotel's roof top, lobby and restaurant. Although our room was not ready when we arrived and the bellhop was under the impression it was, the hotel felt guilty and gave us free breakfast the next morning (get the crossiant egg sandwich). Free Starbucks coffee is huge which is available every morning. I've read prior reviews about the room situations here and I do not regret spending more $ on the Signature King. We had 4 windows (almost floor to ceiling) looking over East Bay Street. It really made our trip that much better. Bathroom was super nice and the king bed was extremely comfy. Brittany @ the front desk was very helpful. Great attention to detail and knew how to take care of us New Yorkers! We borrowed towels and hit Foley Beach (25 minute Uber) on Sunday. The Tides hotel is also owned by Vendue and we used their pool and beach for a day of sun. Got drinks on the rooftop Friday night. Great vibe, crowded, but not too packed. Location wise, you are smack in the middle of downtown with all the best restaurants in walking distance: Husk, 167 Raw, McCrady's, Paw Paw, Poogan's Porch. You can walk to Queen Street, King Street, Market Street and much more! All in all, great experience and would 100% come back!

My husband and I have been wanting to visit Charleston for years so my husband researched and it paid off. From the minute we arrived and were greeted by Mike, one of many great bellman, to time we checked out, our stay was perfect. The room was clean and quiet, the bed and pillows so comfy. Lot's of little details, like the wonderful fresh, not overpowering, scent as we entered our room each time. The staff always engaging with you. The roof top bar was a great place to top off each evening with a sunset and cocktail. For my birthday we had dinner in the hotel and the service and food was top notch. I am already trying to figure out when we can get back!

My wife and I stayed in a ground level corner king which was very large, quiet and comfortable. The perks of staying here are location, complimentary coffee at on site Starbucks (The Press Cafe), nightly milk and cookies upon return from dinners out, cool rooftop bar. One great perk that was not mentioned anywhere we saw online before reserving but only found out about by overhearing another guest checking in was that the hotel has an agreement with The Tides Hotel on Folly Beach that grants Vendue guests free parking, pool and beach access. This turned out to be a huge help when visiting a VERY crowded Folly Beach on a Saturday. We avoided $20 sketchy parking and got a space right next to the beach thanks to this tip. We walked past a number of other hotels that we looked at while planning and the Vendue looked to be the most unique. We did not eat at any of the property's restaurants so cannot comment on that. There are a number of excellent restaurants of all types within close walking distance. Overall would stay again. Brittany at the front desk and all the bellmen were really helpful, actually the bellmen seemed to be more help in some cases when other front desk agents didn't know the answer the bellmen would step right in and get on the phone to get that answer, I wish I remembered their names specifically to give them a shout out.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Vendue. The public areas if the hotel were so interesting....Wonderful Art at every turn, and the decor was tasteful and lovely. The rooms were also very well done, although storage space was minimal. We thought there could have been more drawers, shelfs, (especially in the bathroom) as everything (make-up, hair essentials, etc.,) was just all over the sink...obviously designed by a man! Haha. Other then that, our overall experience was great. Also, we loved that they had bicycles available for their guests....great way to see the sights of Charleston!

This has got to be one of the best in Charleston. Perfect location and set up for getting around and enjoying some down time while on vacation. Professional and informative. You do have to go get coffee in the AM downstairs but room service is quick and inexpensive. Interior rooms are larger and quieter. Would return here for sure.
