We had a wonderful stay at the Vendue. The staff were the friendliest I've ever dealt with and so helpful. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. It is close to everything we wanted to do. I would definitely stay here again

We arrived a week after Hurricane Irma left Charleston. We were wondering how the city fared and also if it would feel strange vacationing in an area that just experienced such flooding. Fortunately for us the hotel was unharmed and the staff and locals seemed happy we were there. The location of this hotel was perfect and the rooftop bar was a real nice option. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to visit Charleston and find such great lodging.

We stayed at the Vendue Hotel. Wow, what a fantastic room. The hotel staff is perfect and they have it down for good service. Everyone is helpful and friendly from the moment you arrive. We stayed two nights at the Vendue Hotel and I wish I could have spent a week there. We were celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. If you like southern hospitality and charm with modern art this is the place to be. The very best of the old with the very best of the new. Excellent location for walking to all the fantastic sights. I could spend a month in Charleston checking out the architecture and the cuisine. I loved the Vendue Hotel Drawing Room restaurant for their breakfast and dinner. Very hip bar too. Note this is a boutique hotel so you get to meet a lot interesting people from all over the world as you dine and during your stay at the hotel. The Waterfront Park is just around the corner. So relaxing in the evening to sit under the trees and gaze out to the water. Charleston is very charming indeed and so much to do. I will come back to Charleston and stay at the Vendue Hotel. If I had to sum it up in two words I would say, romantic and fun. The staff really cared and they did their best to make this a great experience to remember.

Great rooms, many with exposed old brick walls and beams plus antique furniture and modern bathrooms. Wonderful bedding amd room decor. Fine, attentive service. Virtually a museum/gallery experience with all the great art on display. Rooftop bar with fine views of the city and harbor. All right in the heart of Charleston's French Quarter and adjacent to the historic district. At the top of our list for a place to stay in this great city.
