Our first trip to this city and this hotel was everything we hoped for and more. On arrival we had our car valet take that stress away and the room (Historic room) was special. The porch overlooked the Main Street and it was a perfect celebration of our anniversary. Rose pedals, champagne and first class service. Mickey (Robert) was the perfect host and concierge and because of him we will be back as soon as we can. As for Barbara. Head on down to rosenthals coat store... you never know who you will run into like we did.

This a place where you can relax, forget about all of your responsibilities at home and let the staff spoil you. The service is unbeatable, they are there just waiting to help with anything you need. Very kind and courteous. And the beds are amazing!

Although pricey, we really enjoyed celebrating my mother's 90th birthday here. We were pampered which was just what we wanted. The spa was amazing! Having unlimited Dove bars was a treat. The birthday card and roses were a nice touch. We enjoyed the spa cafe and Madison's where our waiter, Robert, was terrific!

We enjoyed our stay at the property. There is great history in this facility and the surrounding area. Our room was comfortable and included a sitting area. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. Since we were in a room on the front of the hotel we did have some road noise but not too bad. The only reason I did not rate this as a 5-star were two issues. The worst of these two was insufficient staff in the bar one evening. We waited about 10 minutes and no sever came to greet us or ask what we wanted. One in our group went to the bar to request that someone check with us and was told I have several orders I am working on and take a seat. It turns out the bar only had one employee that was overloaded. We left and went across the street to have a drink.

We stayed at Half Mile Farm, the Old Edwards sister property, but were recommended to the spa here. What a treat! Following a delightful lunch in the spa cafe, we thoroughly enjoyed a couples massage and all of the amenities of the spa! We can’t wait to go back!
