What a fabulous, wonderful, place! I came to Old Edwards inn and Spa amd the Highlands for the first time with a girlfriend for a spa weekend! Every one of the staff were so warm, welcoming and professional! The staff really make a fabulous resort even more spectacular...... thank you! The property itself is beautiful and our room was in the lodge, which was perfect. The room was immaculate and soooo comfortable. We enjoyed a morning at the spa and the staff there were just as wonderful. Thank you so much for such a wonderful and relaxing stay!!

We went to Highlands, NC on a whim with no plan and ended up at Old Edwards Inn. It was an absolute dream, they treated us like we were royalty. The food was phenomenal, we ate dinner at The Log Cabin and had the best Halibut and Lamb shank. Breakfast was amazing at Madison’s. We had delicious pizza at the Market Fresh Cafe. Also go see Spoiled Rotten Boutique!!!!

Are you a professional looking for a place that exceeds your expectations? Do you have limited time, and must make the most out of every minute... and you can't afford a mistake in choosing an over rated facility with a pompous attitude? Wow, do I have the place for you! I am in the hospitality business and really value my time off. This place knocked it right out of the ball park. The room was spotless, and remained that way throughout our five night stay. The staff...so kind and caring! My husband and I had to depart at 3:00 a.m. to catch a morning flight out of Atlanta, and, as requested, the staff brought up a wonderful hot pot of coffee, gathered our bags, loaded them up, started our car, and of course, turned the heater on! All with a smile! The Spa and it's facilities are on par the some of the nicest, if not the nicest that I have ever seen, including Vegas, and the Four Seasons in Turkey! The food at the restaurant was good, but, there are just as many great places to eat within walking distance of the facility. We actually ate many meals at a grocery store (The Mountain Grocery Store) which had a "whole foods" philosophy without the chain name. Every day, great farm to table specials, fresh baked goods, soups and salads , We liked the area so much, that we actually looked at property! A special shout out to Bruce at the Inn who without prompting, walked across the street and grabbed a real estate magazine and had it waiting for us upon our return...all with a smile and a great attitude. I am returning to work with a re-charged attitude, and a reminder to what hospitality and great service looks like!

We visited Old Edwards two years ago and decided to go again. It is still wonderful with lots of little touches to make it special. Our room rate included a room with a fireplace, and breakfast, lunch and dinner. And guests can use the spa even if they don't have a spa treatment scheduled. The Inn offers champagne, dove bars, chocolate chip cookies, at every turn. And because it was Valentine's weekend, there were roses given out, and rose petals on our bed and our table at Madison's. This is a relaxing place, just 2 hours north of Atlanta, and a pretty drive.

I have never stayed at a hotel with better service. It is amazing how the service alone adds to the overall experience. It is the perfect place to unwind. The cuisine is also incredible. Overall I was very impressed.
