Our stay was great, but I felt our bathroom was a little small for the price of the room. We stayed in the renovated inn, which you can tell is a very old house and you could barely turn around in the shower and the sink was just a sink, no spot to even put your toothbrush. otherwise everything was wonderful. we loved the breakfast buffet, the free bikes to get around town, the location of the inn and the afternoon salted caramel chocolate chip cookies! I also loved spending the afternoon by the inn's living room fire with a book and the cookies. The online guide to the area was also really helpful in planning our activities! The little touches really made it special. If we came back, we would probably book the backyard cabins for more spacious amenities.

Long weekend trip with my husband who has never been to coastal Maine. Cute little location with good shops, food and history. We loved the Coffee House for lattes and pastries in the morning. Thanks AWOL

My adult daughter and I stayed two nights at AWOL and had a great experience. The main house is charming with a lot of character, very inviting and cozy. This is where the delicious continental breakfast is served and the variety of food is impressive. We chose to stay in one of the cabins , which was also very comfortable, clean and cozy. The bed was great, the bathroom was large and the fireplace an added treat! The staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. The location ideal. This place is a gem and we would certainly return and highly recommend to family and friends.

Very nice Inn. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was only fair. Sink was the tiniest I had ever soon, even in a camper. Bathroom door did not stay closed. Breakfast was excellent!!! Coffee, too, was best in any hotel where we've stayed. Location was only fair

Spent a few days on a staycation with my fiancée. We stayed in cabin 1 and it was perfect. The vibe of the entire property is very romantic. The location can’t be beat as it is walking distance to Dock Square. The daily breakfast was great and the hosts are very nice. I recommend all couples try this spot. We will be back again!
