Feeling secluded up on top of the mountain that overlooks the Pacific Ocean is one of the million reasons we continue to come back and stay! Roy is the BEST, we have never had a bad experience any of the 6 times we've stayed at Layan! Cheers to next time!

Amazing boutique hotel with great staff, amazing food and even better views. We stayed an entire week and I wanted to stay for a month. We had an amazing vacation.

The hotel was in a very nice location close to the beach. The room was clean and large if a little dated but overall very comfortable with nice big TV’s if you want to relax if it’s a bit rainy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast and also had a lovely meal in the restaurant one night. Pool area was nice and comfortable. Overall a good experience at a good price for a friends weekend away.

This ist the worst hotel we have been in a long time! Our first impression when we checked in and went to the pool was Wow. The employees are nice and the view, that was a Wow effect. We where there a bit early and had to wait for our room, where able to go to the room at 2 PM. The room, at the first moment, looked great and clean. That changed very fast. The shower was broken, water went from behind the wall and the shower, the shower door was missing. Here the front desk lady said it was no thing, everything is in tiles!! In the sink, the stopper to fill up the water in the sink, was missing. That looked very disgusting. On the balcony we should had 2 chairs and a table, one chair was missing! The room was big and had a sofa with a small table in front of it, which was great. It also had 2 chairs and a small round table. We could not sit there, I couldn‘t even work with the computer on that table, it was to small. The rooms aren‘t cheap. We went to a hotel to relax for a few days, have a good time and have a nice breakfast. It was nothing as a pain for them to clean the room. On the first day we had to go 3 times to the front desk and tell them to clean it. At 6:30 PM they finally managed to clean it. Sorry, that is just a no go!! The second day I said it again at the reception and when we came back, they just finished, which is OK but if I would of not said anything, it would of not been done. The breakfast you had a option to order something, have an american coffee and a juice. The first day we got a Cappuccino, the second day they said that it is extra charge!! The options aren‘t the hit if you don‘t eat eggs, its almost only egg meals. On our last day they didn‘t even have any fruit plates!! The worst was the last night. We where laying in bed. There was a storm with rain and wind. It felt like the whole window front next to the bed will break any minute. We where pretty nervous, the whole wall with the windows was shaking! Then the whole water came in, I didn‘t have dry feet anymore when I got out of bed!! I‘m always complaining that people have a problem when they think that with $50.00 they have a 5 star hotel and then complain. We had a room over $150.00 and there I do think that a shower with a door, a table that you can work on with a computer, a second chair on the balcony or a more option breakfast should be in for that price. For that we could of had a great B&B and taken a breakfast in a restaurant and still would of been better then that what we had. We wanted to relax and enjoy and not beg to get our room cleaned which of should of happened automatically. We will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel has beautiful views! The pool area is very nice, we enjoyed spending time there. The breakfast was awesome! There are several areas that need updating but overall, very clean and nice. The elevator does not work, so keep that in mind if you cannot climb stairs. Special shout out to Robert! He was amazing in every way. He helped us with everything we needed and made us feel so welcomed. From helping us order food, to giving us recommendations, and helping with excursions, he was so helpful and kind. We also loved Ray at the pool!

If you are considering this property, I would tell you to go for it! The rooms and staff are very nice and the resort is well known as one of the better properties in Manuel Antonio. The views from each room are breathtaking and a joy to wake up to each morning.

La Mansion Inn is a small, private boutique-style hotel and we had the Presidential Suite, which was enormous and exquisitely decorated. And the best part of all, most times we felt like we were the only ones at the hotel. We had the pool, restaurant and Cave Bar all to ourselves throughout our whole trip.

We just spent four incredible nights at the La Mansion Inn in Costa Rica. This property was everything and more than we expected. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. The rooms were beautiful with breathtaking views to wake up to every morning... a stay we shall never forget.

We were in awe. The hotel grounds were beautiful, and everyone was so helpful. Everyone who worked there took such pride in the hotel. We never passed a single employee who didn't happily wish us "pura vida"! All I can say is that you won't be disappointed. It ended up being the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica.
