One of my favorite BnBs EVER. I seriously love this place. The rooms are so beautifully furnished and stocked with amenities and the breakfast (with fresh eggs from their own chickens!!) is delicious. We stayed in the East Farmington room which was right next to the llama pasture and chicken coop. Breakfast with a view! Our room came with a bag of chicken feed too... so fun. Loved their wine hour. In addition to the usual bites and cheeses, they also served a little cup of soup! Also, be sure to check out the Farmhouse! There's coffee, tea, cookies and liqueors! :) :) :) Glendeven Inn is seriously top notch in every way and has everything I look for in a cute, charming, rustic type of BnB. Also, reasonably priced!

We have been staying here for over 10 years and it never disappoints. The details are all attended to by the owner John and his friendly staff. The breakfasts are wonderful and delicious. We love the Carriage House 2 rooms and fireplace. Clean and beautiful too. The deck is great for sitting and watching the blue birds. And it's close to great trials and the ocean. Love the wine and gift shop too. Best place to relax too!

This is a beautiful inn on the gorgeous Mendocino coast. The rooms are lovely, the breakfasts superb, and the staff is terrific. The property is populated with adorable llamas and chickens that provide the most delicious eggs for breakfasts. We loved the daily happy hour with local wines and tasty treats. Would go back in a minute!

Glendeven is simply wonderful. Though we were only there one night, we enjoyed every moment. Sitting in the cozy living room of the Farm house was our favorite part. There we ate a delicious, fresh breakfast, looking out over the garden to the llamas and chickens in the pasture and the crashing waves on the rocky coast. Great view. We stayed in the Garret room above and also enjoyed amazing views from there. Incredibly peaceful and quiet. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Staff is attentive and Patience was especially welcoming and helpful. Glendeven is close enough to downtown Mendocino and even Fort Bragg to go out for dinner or shopping, yet far enough away to feel totally secluded. And don't miss out on feeding the chickens and visiting the llamas.

Coincidental to another recent reviewer, we also celebrated our 30th anniversary at Glendeven. It couldn't have been a more perfect long weekend. A warm welcome after a long drive through bay area traffic started everything on the right foot and continued throughout our stay. We had direct access from the Glendeven to Van Damme State Park, where we had an epic hike along Little River through the redwoods on the Fern Canyon Trail. Breakfasts were delicious and delightfully presented at 9:00. The view from our room (Garret) was breathtaking. And seeing the llamas peacefully grazing & strolling throughout their pasture always brought a smile of contentment. Making up for the lack of a fireplace in our room was the cozy 3rd floor seclusion & charming dormer windows. And the fireplace in the common living room on the first floor was readily available. I would describe the overall feel of our accommodations as relaxed elegance - essentially a historic farmhouse made into something comfortably upscale. Our innkeeper, Patience, lived up to her name and was very pleasant and helpful. There are lots of B & Bs in & around Mendocino - many of which I'm sure are wonderful; however, we won't hesitate to return to the Glendeven.
