Amazing , fun, restful, peaceful, visit! From the moment we arrived it was a total exhale experience. Relax, ahh! Monse greeted us at the reception area with cookies, a map and her kind face and information all about this wonderful property! Super easy check in including breakfast for two days! We went to our beautiful suite and enjoyed the amenities! Super comfy bed and pillows with comfy chairs and a table. , a separate room with a couch, table and chairs and armoire. Ample space to relax. The bathroom had a tub shower- combo no TV so you will need to bring your i pad if so inclined. We didn't need it as it was lovely to unplug. There is a communal fridge, icemaker, microwave, hot water and coffee with the fixings available 24 hours. We went and asked about the Gardens and more info about the grounds and Carrie was awesome with her knowledge and info. She noticed I loved sunflowers so pointed is in the direction of not only the beautiful garden but also chickens and Llamas oh my! So fun to feed the chickens and walk with the Llamas! The staff is so awesome here! Monse and Carrie were so kind, informative and knowledgeable! We then went to dinner and met Rose who was absolutely a wonderful server. The food was awesome! The breakfast was delivered to our room with an egg dish, fruit, pastry , coffee and tea and orange juice. I fully recommend this property and this experience! Come and enjoy!

If you stay here, do not stay in the “King bed, Garden View” because you’ll literally be sleeping in an attic. We kinda feel deceived because we had no idea we were staying in a house with other guests, let alone an attic. We wouldn’t have stayed there if we knew that. It was super hot when we stayed in July and there’s no AC. In addition to that, our towels had holes in them, our comforter had dirt on it, and our carpet had tons of stains. This was not a good value for the price.

For the price of this room, it is not worth it. Extremely limited food options and time windows to eat. This hotel is setup for "self-serve". They are cashless which disqualifies them from a real business in my book. This is a $200.00 max per room value

We stayed in a room at the main lodge over the 4th of July weekend with my wife and our dog, and it was exactly the kind of reset we needed. The room was spacious for a couple, with big windows that flooded the space with natural light. On-site EV charging was a great bonus. What made this place special was the sense of calm. The property has a chicken farm, a llama reserve, and a small trail that leads right to the ocean — uncrowded and peaceful. It was the perfect way to start and end each day, just stepping outside into nature without needing to drive anywhere. Communication with the hosts was easy and friendly. They offered fresh cookies at check-in and every day of our stay — a small touch that made it feel welcoming. Location-wise, Fort Bragg, the Skunk Train, and Mendocino Headlands Park were all about a 20-minute drive with no traffic. Very doable for day trips. We tried restaurants in Mendocino village and also ate at the hotel's own restaurant — no complaints on food, plenty of solid options either way. There was a water station on the ground floor which was a nice touch. We'd absolutely come back. If you're looking for a quiet, nature-filled home base to explore the Mendocino coast — especially with a dog — this is it.

This place was just what I needed! It was my first time to Mendocino and I so happy to have found Glendeven. How great it was not to hear cell phones and TV noise. We enjoyed our walks to the coast and seeing the birds, rabbits and deer. I hope to be back many times in my life. What a treat it is for body, mind and soul.
