When we first saw the view from our room, the Garrett, we fell in love with the place. The blue sea, the craggy rock in the distance, the eternal waves, the peacefully grazing llamas outside the Farmhouse, the birds coming for their feed, the beautifully landscaped gardens - as well as the attention to detail that went into decorating our room and the entire farm house: the frames with the pressed flowers, the soothing painting of the sea in the communal room downstairs, everything combines to give a feeling of peace and tranquility. We especially enjoyed the quiet: No TV! Thank you. And we loved the freshly made breakfast, which was delivered to our room. Never knew you could fit that many goodies on such a small tray. We definitely hope to return, even though it is a long trip from Europe! There is so much to see and experience in the area. We highly recommend the place!

We were meeting friends from Washington state for the Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival. They stay at this B & B every year and we thought we would join them and celebrate our anniversary as well. We felt welcome and cared for from the very beginning. They have an evening wine and appetizer every day and a delicious breakfast is brought to your room every morning in a basket. Being coastal, it was cool and comfortable all day.. This was a welcome respite from the oppressive heat inland at the Festival this year. The Inn will give you little bags of feed for their fancy chickens and you can visit with the llamas and wander in the veggie garden. There are trails you can wander across the street and get beautiful views of the ocean from the bluffs. The town of Mendocino is close by and there are wonderful restaurants and shops to visit there. The staff can direct you to great restaurants nearby for dinner or you can join them in the dinners they create.

Spent four great nights at Glendeven. The room/grounds were incredible, breakfast was outstanding and the staff was as good as it gets. Enjoyed the lamas, lots of birds and a few very friendly chickens. The Inn is close to Mendocino and convenient to many great restaurants. Looking forward to a return trip soon.

Where to begin? Such a welcoming inn...The grounds are beautiful and well cared for-Llamas and fancy chickens to feed! The room was great and we had the fireplace going every night. Attention to detail is evident here and the staff saw to every request. Breakfast arrived at our door at 9am sharp-hot! and the quiche was delicious. No question we will stay here again for the festival next year!

A lovely, serene gem. The warm welcome made you feel at home and it continued with the wine tasting provided at 6:00 p.m. Beautiful gardens to stroll through. You can watch the birds and the llamas from indoor or outdoor seating areas. The linens were luxurious and the room awaited us with brownies and food to feed the chickens which was fun to watch and feed. The common area had delicious hot coffee/tea, biscotti, cookies and sherry wine. Breakfast was outstanding, brought to your room on a tray. What a great place!
