The Glendeven Inn is the perfect B & B to unplug and enjoy time with your significant other! We stayed in the East Farmington room - ever room is decorated differently, but they all have a cozy New England charm. The owner raise llamas on their property as well as hens and chickens. In fact, the eggs used for your morning breakfast come from their chickens. The room had a wood burning fireplace they was all prepared so all you had to do was light a match to enjoy the welcoming warmth. In the morning, your breakfast is prepared and brought to your room which was a great way to start our day and was delicious! The quaint town of Mendocino is only a couple of miles away. Also Point Cabrillo Lighthouse is a great place to go whale watching. Van Damme State Park is also a nice place to take a walk along the beach. If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy some quiet time then check out the Glendeven Inn.

We only had one night there, but it felt like we were able to relax for a month. The Shared Table restaurant was fantastic, breakfast in bed was also yummy. The hiking was so beautiful. everything was perfect. We stayed in the Bay View room, what had great lighting. I highly recommend!

I stayed one night at Glendeven Inn to rest after a long buisness trip and the only thing I have to say is that it was too short!! 5 Stars service from start to finish. They help me find the best room for me since they also own The Cobbler's Walk just the other side of the road. Upon my arrival they offered me to have wine and cheese delivered to my room since I had missed the happy hour. The room was clean and spacious with a balcony overlooking the beautiful garden and sea view.I loved the fire place and ''champetre look '' of the room. In the morning they deliver breakfast to your room. ( How amazing is that ?!!) They help me find restaurants and activities to do in the area. I enjoyed my stay very much and I highly recommend this hotel. It was my best experience in Califronia so far and value is great. Thanks so much for everything!

My husband and I stayed here in September for 2 nights. This inn is off the highway and not in the town itself and it is not on the water or can you see much of the water from the inn, if any of that is important to you. We stayed on the bottom floor and next time I would stay on the second floor because of the walking around/noise from our neighbors upstairs. When we arrived we were given our own parking space with our name on it and in our room was a welcome note with some cookies and a small package of chicken feed to feed the chickens which hatch your fresh eggs in the morning. There is a small area that has a fridge and a microwave that is communal for all to use. Breakfast is included in the rate and it was delivered to your room in a basket. A nice touch but breakfast was not terribly warm when it arrived. Guests are also invited to a cocktail hour with wine and snacks too. If you want to get some exercise or take a walk you can walk across the street and there are trails that lead you to the water which was absolutely lovely. The room was huge with sitting areas and a small fireplace as well. We did have an issue with our toilet running which thankfully my husband fixed because that would have been a drag listening to all night. All in all a charming inn.

My daughter and I spent just one night at Glendeven Inn in Medocino, but it was truly amazing from the warm welcome with local wines and bites by innkeeper Sally, to the breathtaking view from our room, the delicious breakfast served in our room, to the fresh coffee and tea available in the Farmhouse in the morning. Out room was indescribably beautiful. Truly one of the best places we have ever stayed. We will be coming back for a longer stay soon, for sure!! Tip: go feed the chickens in the morning for a rustic addition to your stay!
