Great location, great views from the room we booked. It was a family vacation and my daughters loved feeding the chickens and llamas and all of the flowers on the property and the room itself. Personalized parking spaces, and a friendly note welcome you to the Inn and your room. Property and room were very clean, staff happy and helpful.

Some places make you forget what day it is. SCP Mendocino Inn and Farm is one of them. From the moment you turn off Highway 1 and wind down the drive onto the property, the world slows down. The staff here deserve their own paragraph. Warm, unhurried, and genuinely invested in your experience — they struck exactly the right balance between attentive and invisible. Nothing felt transactional. Whether it was a trail recommendation, a room preference, or just a friendly check-in, every interaction felt like it came from people who actually love where they work. Breakfast was a highlight. Farm-fresh eggs and seasonal produce sourced directly from the property made for a morning meal that tasted like it came from the land just outside your window. Having it delivered to the room was a small luxury that set the tone for the whole day. We walked the coastal bluffs, wandered the gardens, said hello to the chickens and llamas, and came back to the fire each evening feeling genuinely recharged. If you’re looking for a weekend that leaves you feeling like yourself again, SCP Mendocino is it. Already planning a return trip.

Mendocino is a gorgeous and charming community! The cliffside views of the ocean and rock formations are stunning! The Mendocino Inn and Farm was a charming place to stay with big picture windows, a real fireplace, delicious breakfast included and there was a bottle of champagne in our room to celebrate our honeymoon! Nicki the manager was very kind and welcoming! We loved the peaceful and romantic setting!

Clean, quiet, perfect location for me as my family is in Albion, but was 5 mins from Mendo as well....................................

If you’re looking for a dreamy little getaway that feels like it came straight out of a storybook, Mendocino Inn & Farm is it. ✨🌿 We had the most wonderful stay here — the location alone is a dream. You’re tucked away in this peaceful, charming setting, but still just a short distance from the beach and downtown Mendocino. It truly gives you that cozy “inn” experience… like you accidentally stepped into a real-life version of a Gilmore Girls episode. ☕️🌸 The landscaping was absolutely spectacular. Every corner felt thoughtfully cared for, with beautiful gardens, peaceful paths, and birds chirping in the background creating the perfect relaxing atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you actually slow down and enjoy the little moments. We stayed in the Ocean Suite and it was everything we hoped for — waking up to views of the ocean and the llamas grazing nearby was such a unique and unforgettable experience. Honestly, how often do you get ocean views AND llama views?! 🦙🌊 One of our favorite touches was having breakfast delivered right to our door. It felt so special and cozy — enjoying a delicious breakfast while taking in the peaceful surroundings was such a treat. Mendocino Inn & Farm was the perfect mix of charming, relaxing, and magical. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about when we can come back. 💛
