Situated along California's rocky Mendocino Coast, a windswept destination located three hours north of San Francisco, is the charming Glendeven Inn Mendocino. This luxury ocean view farmstead, in all its gabled glory, is a delightful destination located in the hamlet of Little River. Rooms in the main house are inviting with antique beds, beamed ceilings and wondrous views. A separate board and batten annex known as Stevenscroft contains a quartet of spacious suites warmed by romantic fireplaces coupled with ocean views. The Carriage House contains a single Grand Suite, with a spacious 750-square-foot floor plan replete with roomy sleigh bed, a pair of fireplaces, private balcony and bathroom with a double-headed shower for tandem bathing.

Incredible Stay at an Incredible Place
Loved the staff, location. room and mellow vibe. Mongie and Carrie at the front desk were amazing...warm, welcoming, thoughtful and helpful.

Pleasant Stay!
Friendly staff, warm ambiance, it felt so comfy! Ioved how it felt so home-y. Rooms were an excellent size, views were amazing! It was incredibly relaxing to stay there, and I would definitely go again.

Idyllic Stay in Mendocino
We've been visiting Mendocino for over 20 years; this was our first stay at SCP Mendocino Inn and Farm. Lovely property just a quick drive from downtown. Highlights were dog-friendly rooms, morning breakfast, accessibility to beach and hiking trails, and the pizza at Terra Farm. We'll be back!

Excellent!
The rooms we (had two separate rooms) were both unique and completely amazing! The morning breakfasts were waiting our 9am requested time, and they were perfectly warm (and cool). All of the staff were engaging and welcoming. We'll be back!

In tune with local environment
Every detail of SCP Mendocino captures the north coast values and culture, from the locally sourced breakfasts delivered each morning to the landscaping that blends native plants and well adapted Mediterraneans, the kind and helpful staff, and the absence of screens replaced instead with an abundance of views, nature trails, games, llamas, places to sit and chat or read. I’m from the area but now live in DC. SCP is where I stay when I come back. Highest recommendation.

This place was just what I needed! It was my first time to Mendocino and I so happy to have found Glendeven. How great it was not to hear cell phones and TV noise. We enjoyed our walks to the coast and seeing the birds, rabbits and deer. I hope to be back many times in my life. What a treat it is for body, mind and soul.
