It’s rustic charm makes you feel reconnected with nature. Love the breakfast to the room in morning and the scenic location. They provided breakfast for my family with a kid breakfast. You can feed chickens and enjoy the farm animals. Free electric car charging was a huge plus as there are at least three Tesla destination chargers and one J1772 so you may not need a Tesla to J1772 adapter.

Beautiful property. Really fun feedling the chickens with the kiddos. Short walk to a stunning beach. Highly recommend.

I have decided to rate with two stars this hotel (and not one star only) , just because the beginning of my stay was somehow pleasant, and the employees were nice and handled properly the emergency situation. But two stars are deserved because on the very last day of my stay ( a few minutes before checking out) something disgusting and unacceptable happened in my room. At some point the toilet started bubbling and filling with water each time I flushed. I realized right away that something was not working properly, and I had the plan to share this with front desk before leaving the room. A few minutes later, with all my stuff packed, almost ready to check out, I was going to take a shower before leaving when I noticed that the shower was filled with water, feces and pieces of toilet paper coming from the bathroom of the room upstairs, where other guests were staying. Each time they flushed (I could clearly hear the noise of their toilet flushing) the shower filled with wastewater more and more, absolutely disgusting!!!! We called right away the front desk to share what was going on. I am obviously very relieved that I noticed that the shower was filled with wastewater before putting my feet inside it!!! Such a situation could expose me to a very serious health risk!!! A very nice employee, Nicole, helped us, she was very empathetic, constantly apologizing. We showed her the issue and then she checked with us another room next to ours, to allow us to take a shower. Unfortunately the other room had the same issue, Nicole indeed checked its bathroom as well, the shower had visible dirt on the bottom, and when she tried flushing the toilet it filled up until the edge, exactly as the one in my room. So, at that point we moved to another room, in the same building where the reception is. We were forced with our pajamas on to cross the garden to get to this 3rd room. I was able to keep calm with the hotel just because they profusely apologized (both Nicole and Monse) and they managed quickly the situation by allowing my husband and I to access another room, and finally take a shower. They refunded us with the 15% of the total of our stay BUT I felt very very uncomfortable when I saw what I saw. I don’t know who is responsible for this but it is absolutely certain that the pipes are not working properly in that building (my room was the suite named Pinewood). The hotel employees shared that its bathroom had been recently renovated but that the pipes are old. So it looks that this issue came from something that is a structural problem, and I really really hope that they can fix it asap for the future guests. Unfortunately what happened wiped away any possibility for me to come back to this hotel.
