The Glendeven Inn is more than a place to sleep, the staff at the Glendeven Inn helped us navigate restaurant reservations, a great massage, good hikes, and some amazing wine. You are in good hands here.

This Inn is a perfect blend of pampered hospitality along with quiet solitude to relax and recharge. Our room (Bay Loft) was large and inviting with a fabulous sitting area that has fabulous views and fireplace. The bedding was luxuriously soft and the bed was heavenly to sleep in every night. The staff was very attentive but not intrusive at all. Breakfast each morning was delivered exactly at 9:00 as promised and was sooooo good. If you have a chance to attend the Shared Table, you should take advantage. A return visit is something we definitely want to experience again soon.

My husband and I have had the privilege of coming to this amazing inn for the last 4 years. We will not stay anywhere else when in the area. It is seriously our favorite getaway spot. This time we were able to enjoy and have the phenomenal experience of both the Shared Plate dinner (exceptional experience) and afternoon tea at the inn. From start to finish, the hospitality and staff are out of this world. The grounds are gorgeous and property immaculate and beyond well taken care of. I'm always sad to leave but excited to know we'll be back the following year!

Love staying at the Glendeven my first trip to Mendocino! It's a short drive into town, and up and down the coast (really doesn't matter where you stay for getting around, everything is central). They have animals, Lamas, Chickens, Rosters, etc. They bring you a fresh breakfast to your door in the morning... so nice! The owner of this place leaves no stone unturned everything is perfect. I heard the dinner at the Inn is lovely, but we ate elsewhere since there are so many choices. I'd ask for an upstairs room if you can. We stayed in a downstairs room and while the porch view and eating breakfast outside on it was beautiful, we could hear the people above us a bit too much at night / early morning. Oh, 2 other things... the bed linens here are so comfy I ordered some for home (you can also buy them at the Inn! :-) Finally, don't forget to take the walk to the Ocean Cliff's that starts across the street at their sister Inn. It was beautiful for sunset. That's it, you'll love it here! :-)

My wife and I stayed at Glendeven for two nights in mid-October. We stay in the East Farmington room I believe. Overall we absolutely loved it. Highlights include very friendly staff, personalized service, excellent breakfast, great property to roam around on (chickens, and llamas make it all the more interesting), daily wine tasting, and a great location. We will certainly be back.
