Glendeven Inn Mendocino

This stay was absolutely perfect! The location was great and had easy walkable access to coastal trails and to Van Damme state park. The check in process was very simple and had clear instructions on finding our room amongst all the cottages. The breakfast was amazing every single morning, and they were accommodating of my partner’s egg allergy and provided delicious alternatives. What truly made the experience so much more memorable and personal was the staff we met throughout: Monse, Antonia, Luis and Jack were an absolute joy and truly took the time to make our trip extra special by giving us local recommendations, telling us about the history of SCP Mendocino Inn and Farm, and taking us to interact with the llamas. We cannot wait to come back and hope to see them (and all the chickens) again! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

I'm so glad I found this little gem of a place a year ago while looking for a quiet solo getaway. Coming from Dallas, it's not an easy place to get to, but well worth the effort. We just had our second return trip, and already want to go back! My daughter loved feeding the chickens and taking the hidden path to the beach. The property is magical, staff warm and welcoming, and the breakfast every morning is one of our favorite parts. It's secluded enough to feel like your own forest hideaway, but just a 2-minute drive to town. It's now one of our favorite places, and can't wait until next time.

The best, quiet and relaxing location you'll find. The grounds and chickens are the best. They accommodate food allergies and are incredibly friendly.

Cozy lodge that accommodated our two small pups.Fireplace in the room was a plus on the one day it poured rain. Beautiful setting with llamas, how can you go wrong? There is an easy nature trail nearby that goes to a small beach. The delivered breakfasts in the morning are perfect and the massage was wonderful. Thank you for a great stay and amazing hospitality!

It’s rustic charm makes you feel reconnected with nature. Love the breakfast to the room in morning and the scenic location. They provided breakfast for my family with a kid breakfast. You can feed chickens and enjoy the farm animals. Free electric car charging was a huge plus as there are at least three Tesla destination chargers and one J1772 so you may not need a Tesla to J1772 adapter.
