The place is fun with the farm and the animals which is partly why I wanted to go here. The flowers blooming in the spring add to the bucolic peace of the place. We stayed in the headlands suite and it had everything-fridge-cups, coffee, microwave, a fireplace and comfy chairs. The outside balcony was nice but it needed repairs. It was unfortunate that the restaurant wasn't open for our stay. The linens and bed were fine and I am pretty picky about that. The noise was minimal except for the road which can't be helped. I think if windows were open and it was hotter that might be a problem. There really isn't much of a view of the ocean but that was expected. No television but that is partly the peaceful experience of staying here. I would pick someplace else if I ever go to Mendocino again but I'm still glad we had this experience.

this place is so peaceful and relaxing. feeding the chickens, walking in the garden, watching the ocean waves. didn't experience a negative thing at all!

The Inn is beautiful! We messed up our reservation and arrived late. Nicki met us at the lodge and graciously made everything perfect!! Our room was lovely with a warm inviting fireplace comfy bed and beautiful garden. Breakfast was delicious and was brought to our room. Thanks again to Nicki!!!

If you are passing by into this beautiful town, stay at list one night in this property. The farm has a really cool energy with all the animals and there is this super friendly cat that is free on the property, if you are a animal lover you are going to love it!

The location of the property is very convenient, and the condition of it is very nice. We stayed in the Lodge Junior King Suite which is not huge but big enough for me, my wife and our LO. They also have a sofa bed from West Elm which is huge when extended. The beddings are fantastic -- Honestly I never expected to have beddings as good as we have at home in a hotel, but here we are. The room is also very clean, and they even have a wood fireplace for you to play with. The room is not that well insulated though and you can hear the neighbors -- sorry to our neighbors since our kid cried a bit during the first night and it definitely disturbed them. They provided great breakfast. The serving size is not that huge as it's not a buffet, so prepare to eat your lunch a bit early, but it's delicious and nice, with coffee, tea and orange juice, and someone will send it directly to your home without any extra charge! The chicken coop and llama pasture is also very nice. Overall a very lovely vibe. You can also feed the chicken. 5/5 recommended.
