We had a cottage unit - private, cosy, clean, warm (on a cold night). Evening wine, very good breakfast, pleasant, warm, flexible hosts. Great location for walking into town without that crowded feeling. We will be back.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everything about this place! It’s beautiful, extremely clean, located in a great spot in Napa, and Carrie (owner) was so warm and welcoming. The breakfast was gourmet, and the wine and hors d’oeuvres in the evening were delish!!! I will absolutely stay there again. I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s the perfect place for a romantic getaway.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this lovely inn for two nights last week. The inn is a beautiful old home with lots of character and charm and modern bedrooms and bathrooms. We arrived during the evening wine hour and were able to check in quickly, put our things in our room, and then join the other guests downstairs for wine and conversation. We immediately felt welcome and enjoyed chatting with other guests before everyone headed out for dinner. The excellent hospitality and friendliness continued throughout our stay with fabulous breakfasts and recommendations for great dining, antique shopping, and winery tours. (Really--exceptionally fabulous breakfasts and cookies anytime too). We wished our stay could have been longer and hope to stay here longer on our next trip to Napa.

We stayed for three nights (Sat, Sun and Mon) over President's Day Weekend. LOVED every bit of it! We realized at the last minute that we would be arriving at the Inn after their normal check in time which is until 7:30pm. But, when we contacted the Inn they were very accommodating and told us that they'd leave a key and instructions taped to the front door. They even told us to grab dinner before settling into the Inn for the night because things tended to close early in Napa. This was great advice. We headed from the Santa Rosa airport directly to Yountville where we were able to get a table at Bouchon Bistro (we had reserved ahead there but showed up early and they were able to take us early). When we finally got to the Inn we were staying in the main house in Room 3 - Bella Freisa. The jacuzzi tub, bathroom amenities (Gilchrist & Soames) and soft bath towels were a delight. The room was very well appointed with a sitting area, armoire with mini fridge, TV, DVD player, wine and other beverages available for sale, complimentary bottles of water, Coke and Diet Coke, and a gas fireplace (we used this every night and in the mornings). And, since we had missed the first evening's wine hour the concierge had left us two glasses of Atlas Peak red wine, cheese, crostini's, olives etc in the room - super nice touch! They also left us three chocolate truffles which of course were gone by the time we left ;) The bed had plenty of pillows which I loved and a really fluffy comforter that was luxurious. Breakfast was wonderful all three mornings. Each morning they brought us a fresh fruit bowl and a pastry of choice to start. The fruit had lime syrup on it a few days and orange syrup another day which was unique and delicious. Breakfast was ordered the night before via a hang tag on the door handle to your room. There were always three options that would seem to accommodate even the pickiest eaters. We attended wine hour the next two nights and met couples from other parts of the country whom we ended up exchanging contact information with. Carrie, our host and owner of the Inn, never let anyone's glass get past ½ empty - Thumbs up! The staff that we met, Shirlee and Laura were both so wonderful and really made us feel at home. It was a really, really delightful stay. We can't wait to stay here gain on our next visit to Napa!!!
