We had such a wonderful experience at 1801! Carrie and Blair along with the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, we enjoyed the other guests as well. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and clean, the breakfasts were amazing and the evening wine & cheese receptions were enjoyable. The location was within a short walking distance to downtown Napa with a variety of shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend!

Owner greeted us with wine in this elegant, charming, beautifully appointed historic home, then helped us plan our stay. Hand-made chocolate truffles sitting on the fireplace mantle in our beautiful, spacious room- with full bath, soaking tub.. luxurious. Walking distance to everything & great morning runs, too. Wine hour-not to be missed in classic, comfy patio area with delicious wines and chef's special appetizers. Breakfast choices?! YES- and all delicious, made to order by chef. LOVE the owners, Carrie and Blair, for taking time to know/understand the unique personalities and needs of their guests. It was the best B&B stay in recent memory and I'd go back in a heartbeat!

My boyfriend and I recently went to 1801 for a weekend and had a wonderful time! I highly recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to have my friends and family experience a proper B&B such as this! STAFF: The staff is just absolutely lovely. We were greeted at the front door by Carrie. She welcomed us each with a glass of wine and even prepared a plate of cheese and meats. Let her know your agenda during your stay because she can give you some valuable advice on how to maximize your time there. If you don't have an agenda, even better; let her know your likes and dislikes (views, red wine vs white wine, bubbly, tours, etc.). She was even able to book a last minute reservation for us at one of the wineries. Her husband and rest of the 1801 team were also very friendly and helpful. PROPERTY/ROOM: The location is perfect! Literally 5 minutes from the highway, which will take you towards all the wineries! We stayed in one of the rooms on the first floor. There were 6 other couples during our stay and the noise level was never a problem. BREAKFAST: Hats off to the chef! The breakfast (1 of 3 choices: 2 standard and 1 daily special) was delicious. The presentation and attention to detail they put into their dishes was a pleasant surprise and the ingredients they use are fresh! Lastly, don't be shy and take as many homemade cookies as you please - they are absolutely delicious! Thanks again 1801 for the wonderful weekend!

I just spent the weekend there -my first trip to Napa Valley! I loved the stay we had. The owner is wonderful to work with-she spent a lot of time ahead of my trip helping me plan great places and wineries to visit. She also helped make my reservations as well. The breakfast is A-MAZING! The afternoon wine and cheese hour is also a very nice treat after a day of shopping. The accommodations are great. The weather was great during our stay so the courtyard was so relaxing to sit around. They have fresh orchids everywhere! They do service very well here! I also enjoyed getting to meet other guests and chit chat with them during breakfast or wine hour. It is also very close to downtown Napa and a close walking distance to some yummy restaurants and shopping!
