Fabulous stay in an excellent location. Close to everything. Beautiful Inn, warm and cozy and the decor was impressive. Each room had a flair all it's own. Owners, Carrie and Blair, along with Shirlee and Laura are exactly what you are hoping for when you book an Inn in Napa. All were friendly, fun and extremely helpful! We were there with 3 other couples and it truely was a memorable experience! The evening wine and cheese hour was always a great time. The Port wine offered in the main sitting area was a classy touch. Breakfast each morning was Outstanding. Can not say enough. Hope to make it back soon! Ralph and Nicole C.

We had a perfect stay at 1801 First! We were traveling with 3 other couples and were warmly greeted by Blair upon our arrival. After a welcome glass of wine, we saw our rooms. Our room was clean, huge and had a big tub and bathroom. Each room has a fridge that was restocked daily with water and soda. I cannot say enough about the bed! It was the most comfortable bed that is not my own. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Each day you have the choice of 3 options and each comes with fruit and homemade baked goods. The inn is a perfect short walk into town, which kept the inn quiet at night. Our favorite was the evening social hour on the patio with wine and light appetizers. It was a great time to sample more wine and get to know the other guests and Carrie and Blair, the owners. We would linger for a long time, enjoying the good weather and company. The perfect place to stay in Napa!

Before you even arrive, Carrie, Shirleee, and Laura are helpful with restaurant suggestions and itineraries ensuring a memorable stay. Upon arrival you are greeted warmly with a tour of the inn and a welcome as though you are family. The inn is located conveniently in downtown Napa walkable to many restaurants, shops, wine bars and wine tasting rooms. Rooms are nicely appointed, spacious and common areas are inviting and cozy. The "wine hour" served daily from 5:30-6:30 is a nice touch with wines from local vineyards and offering of charcuterie/cheese board. A lovely way to meet other guests if desired in a beautiful outdoor setting when weather provides. Breakfasts are a whole other story!! Sumptuous with a special of the day as well as the "classic" eggs, toast, etc or yogurt, granola, fruit options. If you are looking for a romantic, conveniently located inn with staff that treats you like long lost family this is the place for you! And did I mention the bag of cookies they send you off with when you return the key???

We had a Great stay at 1801 First. A lot of thought and time were taken to make sure our stay was comfortable. A wonderful breakfast with home-baked goods, and afternoon snacks with wine. Carrie and Laura were very helpful with making our plans for our stay. The Inn is just a few blocks from downtown Napa. The food and wine were endless. We hope to be able to go back and visit soon.

There aren't enough superlatives to describe this place. Comfy, fun, great location, awesome owners and staff, delicious breakfast, and friendly people staying there. The daily "happy hour" on the patio was the perfect added bonus and gave us all time to meet each other, talk about our day experiences, exchange recommendations, and just enjoy the company. We'll be back.
