This B&B is just wonderful. Words will fall short, but here goes a try: It is a beautiful property with that amazing classical look, while at the same time staying modern and comfortable. Our room, which was the Junior Suite, was amazing: beautiful bathtub, fireplace, large and comfy bed. You will have your own parking space and location-wise you will be located at walking distance from downtown Napa. The wine hours were maybe my favorite thing. Carrie, the owner and our hostess for those occasions, is fully devoted to make you feel glad and spend quality time with those at the B&B...we had wonderful conversations with our fellow guests and it is truly a remarkable and memorable aspect of the experience. Breakfasts are awesome!!! try the bacon is just perfect. The best thing about 1801, though, is its people: Carrie and the rest of those who work there will go all out to make you have a nice time and enjoy your Napa visit, I mean it!. I fully recommend this place.

This was our second time staying at 1801 First and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! We brought another couple along with us this time and they really loved staying here as well. We stayed in a Superior and Junior Suite upstairs. Both rooms were lovely. We arrived very late but were happy to find delicious wine and goodies waiting for us in our rooms. Every breakfast was delicious and the happy hour was so much fun! Carrie and Blair, the owners, take a lot of pride in providing an amazing place for you to stay while in wine country. We loved the location in downtown Napa, so we walked to dinner each night after happy hour at the B&B. When we got back from dinner we treated ourselves to the freshly made cookies and port which was left out as a nightcap. Little touches make this place so special. Every time we visit Napa, we will be staying here!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay in the Casa Dolce cottage at 1801 First Luxury Inn in Napa. The owners and staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Delicious breakfasts and we appreciated the 5:30 pm wine and snacks served everyday before heading out to dinner. Restaurants and Oxbow Market all within walking distance. Easy drive to wineries and neighbouring towns. Gracious Queen Anne house in an ideal location. We cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Napa and look forward to returning.

We were here for our first kid-free vacation in several years. We were celebrating me being cancer free for 5 years! So it was a big trip for us. I read tons of reviews on Trip Advisor before booking our room at 1801 First. And I have to say that the other great reviews are correct. This is a fantastic B&B! The service, rooms, food, and amenities are just as good as the other reviews say they are :) From start to finish, our entire trip was perfect! Carrie was there to check us in when we got there. She was so sweet. We had been driving all day, and she immediately offered us a glass of wine at check in and showed us to our room. We were staying in the Carriage House, which was perfect for us. The room was beautiful. It was very large with a huge bathroom and a HUGE soaking tub. We spent four nights there, and every single interaction we had with anyone was so pleasant. Everybody was so friendly. We talked with Shirlee and Laura a lot at breakfast. And we got to talk to both Blair and Carrie a good bit at the wine hour. The wines they served were great. It was also nice to get to visit with the other couples staying there. We haven't really stayed in a bed and breakfast before, so we weren't sure what to expect. But this was perfect for us. I have to say the chef's breakfasts every morning were SPECTACULAR! It would be worth staying here just to eat his food. Haha! I was so sad we were going to have to leave too early on the last day, but he packed us up a to go breakfast! Also, the location was very convenient. You can easily walk to any of the restaurants in the downtown area. Anyway, it was an amazing trip! We would definitely stay here again if we make it back to Napa. And I've already recommended it to a friend of ours that is planning a trip to Napa. So thank you Carrie, Blair, Shirlee, and Laura for making our trip so special!

We cant say enough about Carrie, Blair, Shirlee, Laura and last but not least--Jim #5. Our cozy cottage was perfect. Quiet, romantic and very acceptable, We especially loved sitting in the garden in the cool evenings tasting the Vino of he day with cheese and other delicious delights. We thought the location was perfect--close enough to make it a breeze getting just about anywhere but yet out or the main hustle and bustle of the area. Their advice on the local area and things to do was spot on. Another event we looked forward to was taking our amazingly prepared breakfast in the main house each morning. We met some really nice people and the food was better than amazing. We are already thinking of making another trek from Oklahoma to Napa-along with friends this time. We'll most assuredly stay at 1801 again when we do. I couldn't imagine anyplace more inviting. Ken & Connie
