This resort is absolutely gorgeous! The pictures do not really do it justice. The entire property is in really good condition, rooms are nice, updated, and clean. The restaurants are all very nice with good food and good service. We loved the cottage style of the room and having the large patio and outdoor area. The staff at the pool, restaurants, and housekeeping were amazing and provided exceptional service. The front desk staff seems to be lacking in the service department. We had a similar experience as others have reported with check in. We arrived a bit early (2:30 and check in is at 4) and were told our room wasn't ready yet. No problem, I understand there isn't a guarantee of an early check in. They said they'd text us when the room was ready and that we were free to explore the property. They did not give us directions on how to get around so we wound up hanging outside the lobby area. At 4:10 we still had not received the text or call that the room was ready so we went back to the check in desk to get the keys. The other issue was that we were bringing our dog and when I booked the reservation it indicated a $150 cleaning fee for pets. When they sent me the pet agreement to sign prior to our stay they had the fee listed as $300, so I called and again was told that it would only be $150 and they sent me a new agreement with the correct fee amount. However, when we checked out I saw on our final bill that they charged us twice for the $150. I had to call and ask that they reverse one of the charges. Aside from those two hiccups, we had a wonderful stay. We paid for a later check out and got to enjoy the pool the day of our check out which was very nice. Overall this is a fabulous hotel and very dog friendly!

Carneros Resort did not disappoint! We stayed at here as part of a wine tasting getaway with friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. The property is beautiful - if a little challenging to navigate the first day. The pool is beautiful and the view there even better. I cannot wait to go back. We enjoyed the Tasting Room in particular. It was a nice place to hang out to learn more about wine and just to enjoy the yummy frosé on a nice evening.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom residence cottage for a week in May 2026 and it was lovely! The cottage was well laid out with two large bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms. The main bedroom had a sunroom with high ceilings and large windows all around. We used it to do work during the day. Kitchen was small with limited equipment but was good enough to make simple breakfast of eggs/ toast and to reheat left overs. Daily housekeeping: We used the housekeeping services four days out of the seven and they were excellent! They also supplied us with spring water in recyclable paper cartons, Nespresso coffee pods, and tea bags daily. Patio space: we really enjoyed the private hot tub in the backyard. You can go straight from the hot tub to the outdoor shower and then to your shower in the bedroom bathroom. Outdoor fireplace and ceiling heaters kept us comfortable in the early mornings and evenings when temperatures dropped to a chilly 50 degrees. Front desk: courteous and quick to respond to requests. Check in and check out was super quick and easy. Grounds: beautiful and peaceful. Surrounded by blooming fragrant flowers of all kinds (roses, poppies, jasmine, etc). I loved walking around and literally smelling the flowers. The property isn’t very big so it takes about 20 minutes to walk around the entire grounds. Pools: the Hilltop pool was very busy during the day on the weekends. Gorgeous panoramic views of hills and vineyards. The Otto’s pool was almost always empty-no views but great for lap swimming Fitness center: clean, spacious, excellent equipment. It was a quick walk from our cottage. Market Place: fair prices, wide selection of products, has everything you would want or need. Their hot foods and pastries were delicious. Service was friendly. The Farm: beautiful. Did not eat here though. This would definitely be our choice in Napa should we return. Had a wonderful stay! Thank you to all the staff.
