Reviews for Inn at Occidental
Not you standard grandma B&B with quilts on the walls. Stunning artwork and beautiful antiques decorate this home. Each room is lovely, private and inviting. Chef (not just pancakes) creates a different breakfast. While there I met several guest with special dietary needs and all were accommodated with a smile. Highly recommend this quiet gem. Close to the wine tours, walking distance to the local pub and Hazel's (a must stop for dinner). And close to walk / hike among the redwoods. HIGHLY recommend

My boyfriend and I were looking for a new adventure and we stumbled upon the Inn at Occidental. I absolutely loved this B&B. The service was superb, the rooms were big and clean and incredibly cute. We had a giant king sized bed and all the rooms have 2 person jacuzzi tubs. Breakfast was delicious both mornings and they offer complimentary wine tastings each evening. The town of Occidental is a little strange but we had the "perfect day" suggested by the concierge, Marilyn, which consisted of a costal drive, a beach visit and an afternoon of wine tasting. Thank you so much, we really enjoyed our getaway!!

My husband and I had a weekend away together and stayed at the Inn at Occidental. The host provided us with complimentary wine tasting in house, as well as tickets to other wineries in the area. The house is old, but well maintained. Breakfast was delicious. We even treated ourselves to a day at Osmosis Day Spa. Close by is the town of Graton which has a very good Polish Restsurant. We plan on coming back.

This is a nice spot, but over priced. The bed is comfortable, the room spacious. Breakfast was tasty. These are all good points. But I have a problem paying premium prices and walking into a courtyard that is weed filled. The planted pots are dead or in need of replacement. The rug is a bit dirty. The paint job in the restroom off the lobby is sad and ugly. The details are just not well done. The lady who checked us in was very nice, as was the chef. They seem to enjoy their jobs. But for this kind of money I expect everything to be flawless.

We stayed here Christmas Day. It was very nice. We stayed in the Heritage room up some rather slippery stairs. No elevator. Room was beautiful. Fabulous heritage quilt over the bed and lovely hot tub for 2. Fireplace was cozy but only source of heat. Was addiquit for cold night. We brought our dog and they are very happy to see your 4 legged babies. They had a set of bowls, dog treat and the dreaded poop bags all there for you. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Wonderful granola and then great eggs benedict. A treat. Great stay down to the cute rubber duckeys in the hot tubs!!!
