Reviews for Saybrook Point Inn & Spa
SPA REVIEW ONLY. My fiance and I ended up pampering ourselves in multiple spa treatments a month before our wedding. Charming coastal New England vibe with a lovely staff and targeted services. The relaxation rooms were clean. We enjoyed the beverages and snacks, and cozy fireplace. After facials, massages, and pedicures, we were totally relaxed and blissful. Lunch at Fresh Salt overlooking the water, even on a cold day, was wonderful.
We arrived at the Inn on Friday morning in the middle of a nor easter and from the moment we arrived, the staff couldn't have been nicer. The bell boys, the front desk people, even the staff we meet walking around the inn were so cordial it was a delight. We had some of the best massages we've ever had, swam in the pool, had cocktails and dinner and finished off with a fire in our room. We will definitely be back next year. It is a five star hotel without the stuffiness many of them have. Well done Saybrook Inn.

Had lunch on a unusually warm winter day in February. The views or beautiful as the sun glistened off the water in the marina. I had a tuna dish that was simply amazing. My friend had a salad that was prepared and such a eye appealing way it made eating a salad even more enjoyable.

During a recent storm, which we had tried unsuccessfully to outpace, the Inn offered a welcome respite. Arriving at 11:30 PM, front desk staffed inquired if we had found a place to have dinner prior to checking in. We said no, and even though their kitchen staff were gone for the day, they asked if we would like something to eat, perhaps a cheese and fruit tray. Moments later, sitting in our gorgeous, warm, comfortable room, a delightful arrangement arrived, delivered by the inn’s general manager, John. John had personally put together this offering for us and even included a treat for our dogs. We were weary from travel and his snack was most thoughtful and appreciated. Thanks for your hospitality. We will surely be back for more.

Spent one night at the Inn and wish I could have stayed longer. From the moment we walked into the lobby, we were treated as the most important people in the world. Front desk clerk and valet were welcoming and gracious. The room was immaculate, beautiful and although very large, still seemed cozy. Bedding was amazingly comfortable. View was priceless. Best of all, the Inn was quiet! No doors slamming. No elevator racket. Dinner at Fresh Salt was scrumptious. The kale beet salad is a great star to the swordfish chop cooked to perfection. The bread is wonderful. Dessert was cappuccino done very well. Christine, our server, was attentive, charming and friendly. She interacted well with other guests and appeared to make everyone feel welcome. A quick dip in the salt water polo was just the thing we needed before retiring to our peaceful room.
