Everything went well - reservation, room, check out etc. The unexpected standout is the restaurant which was very good. Service cheery and efficient and the strip steak is wonderful with a very special stuffed potato and tempura scallions - very good! My room was the least expensive...and clean, roomy comfortable - bed great- pillows great - TV great. It reminded me of the Norwich Inn but a little nicer and a lot better food. Price is a bit high and did not include breakfast. Especially since they were quite empty.

This hotel and spa is just delightful. We stayed in the three story guest house which was perfect. Coffee , fruit and fresh baked goods in the dining room to begin the day. The water aerobics class was great. The staff was very helpful and always delightful. The best is how beautiful the grounds and gardens are. The flowers were just planted in May and the gardens are gorgeous. Thanks for a great stay

The accommodations at Saybrook Point are amazing. I've been here twice and can't think of anywhere else that has been this nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dinner at the Old Salt us always delicious. Another great feature are the fantastic views you will find all around the place.

Half our our party stayed in the main inn, and the other half stayed in Tall Tales Guest Cottages across the street. Both accommodations were first class! We were very impressed with the personalized service which came across as natural and genuine from literally every staff member. The 2 weddings on Columbus Day weekend did not detract in any way from our exceptional experience. The accommodations were very comfortable with first class touches for everything. The Fresh Salt was a great place to dine. We highly highly recommend this inn.

Beautiful but very pricey no extras for your money. Yes a coffee pot in room but that is it with pods . Felt it was a lot of money for the purpose of sleeping There was a wedding So the foot traffic for the bar and where all had to wait for the reception was constant ,was very crowded . Not many places to sit and view the water I would save my money and go back to the quality inn. More money in your pocket and free breakfasts
