A wonderful stay, as we've had before. The year-round heated outdoor salt pool is a delight. Staff are consistently warm and helpful. This time we had our small dog along, and the staff are clearly comfortable with dogs. We appreciated the room service available for all excellent meals, as it meant we did not have to leave her in her crate in the room. The only disappointment was discovering we'd left an expensive phone charger in the room after checkout, and within hours called the resort, with the front desk assuring that they'd mail it to us, and notifying housekeeping to look for it. The report back the next day was that no charger was found, so that means that whomever cleaned the room simply pocketed it. This was after we also left a tip. Nonetheless, we will return as this is a great place to walk, swim, eat, drink, and sleep!

This is one of my husband and my favorite places to stay on the Connecticut shoreline, it never disappoints. Fresh Salt has always delicious food, both for dinner and breakfast, and the view is spectacular. Our room was lush and the large balcony was delightful to sit out on after breakfast to do a little work before going out to explore.

Recent stay for the weekend with family. I have stayed before but hadn’t since the recent renovations and found the updates gorgeous. The room had a modernized look, gorgeous bathroom and decor. We were celebrating a birthday and the mini bar had a surprise mini birthday cake inside along with a complimentary bottle of wine courtesy of the front desk. The staff were accommodating and friendly. We had beautiful weather so sitting alfresco watching on the water was five star. I took advantage of the bike rentals and took a ride over to Fenwick to see the Katherine Hepburn house- beautiful little private community there situated surrounding a golf course on the water. We also took out one of the complimentary teslas for my husband to drive. The spa was also relaxing- great facial. If going with kids, hopping from the indoor to the outdoor pool and steam rooms was fun. A great weekend, I’ll be back!

We love Saybrook Point Inn and frequently go for R&R for a few days. This stay was more crowded and noisy than it usually is.Bridal Showers, Baby Showers , Engagement Parties. Lots of people and lots of noise. Also we were awakened both mornings at 5:30 am by people in the pool talking loudly. There was no attempt to lower their voices and it was annoying to be awakened by their loud voices. But we still really enjoy SPI and the people that work there are wonderful.

The Saybrook Point Inn and Spa was romantic and absolutely beautiful (even in the dead of winter). The staff attended to every desire, and the spa treatments were marvelous and soooo relaxing. I highly recommend facial and massage as well as the mud body wrap.

If you are looking for a romantic place with a spectacular water view - then the Saybrook Point Inn in Old Saybrook, CT is the place for you. We had a lovely sitting area with a balcony for enjoying the sunset water view and a working fireplace. Excellent staff and the hotel was immaculate. In any season the Saybrook Point Inn is fabulous.
