Reviews for Saybrook Point Inn & Spa
This was probably one of the best Hotel/Spa's I have ever stayed at. The minute the four of us pulled up, John the bellhop and Scott at the front desk greeted us like family and was very warm and accommodating. The food was fantastic at Fresh Salt and Nancy our Server is an absolute doll and what outstanding service and banter. Maura and Anna were most helpful and kind to us when we wanted to have our goodbye lunch a half hour before service started, and in front of the fireplace. Spa services were to die for (well not exactly but you get the idea) My detox aromotherapy massage with with Ron was fantastic and he made me feel so comfortable and I felt like a new person after my treatment. Agu, who is sweet as can be ,gave me a killer organic facial and was so helpful in suggestions to use on my sensitive skin. I never had a facial like that, where they work on your hands and feet as well (it was glorious). Thank you for a wonderful weekend (spent two glorious days at your hotel/spa) and I plan to be back one day very soon. Best, Angela Frodella

We wanted to get away to someplace within a short distance from Boston, but still offering the spoils of a getaway - great spa, excellent food, and a lush ambiance. The service we received - from immediately being greeted upon arrival by the bellman with a warm demeanor, to every single person after that - the spa manager, the knowledgeable and attentive restaurant staff - was some of the best I have ever received. I've stayed at the Ritz before and the service was comparable. I felt like family being welcomed, and they even extended this care to our dog, with a customized stocking full of treats! The room was lovely with a wonderful fireplace, the food some of the best we've eaten, the massages were absolutely top notch. I can't say enough great things about this gem! We will absolutely be back as this is now a favorite for life!

This was a gift to us for my wife’s “babymoon” which included a one night stay and some spa treatments. From our initial arrival a member of the staff Jeff jumped to helping my wife and I with our bags, even pushing the cart up to the room with my not so friendly K9 in his crate barking at him the whole time. Jeff checked in on us whenever he saw us during our stay looking to help. We then went to the spa where I got the best deep tissue massage I’ve had and my wife got a pre-natal massage that relaxed and relieved her, and she was finally able to get a good nights sleep without back pain. Wish I could remember our masseuses names! We then used our drink vouchers at the bar which was very clean and the wait staff were very efficient, helpful, and friendly. We relaxed in our spotless room with a quaint balcony before having a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant, Fresh Salt. There is something on the menu for everyone and while pricey it was worth it. After a great nights sleep and some room service breakfast (which cost less to nothing with the voucher) Jeff once again helped my wife drag the dog crate to the car as we left. We truly did not want to leave! We can only imagine how the hotel looks during the warm months with its location overlooking the harbor, but we loved the atmosphere even in the winter month. This is a great couples getaway and could also see is a great site for a wedding ! We will definitely return !

Went for a company holiday party, about 150 people. It was snowing when we arrived and the hotel offered each guest, free of charge, an overnight snow removal service for your car. I had never seen or heard of this before. Check in was quick and the room very large with a sitting area, fireplace (don't know if it worked) and a small balcony with a water view. The entire place was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The bar was comfortable and the staff friendly. Dinner was the best "banquet" food I have ever eaten. A filet mignon perfectly cooked medium rare. Service was excellent and attentive. Check out was easy and cars that had requested the snow cleaning service were ready to roll.

Wonderful trip to this lovely hotel. All the staff did an amazing job of spoiling us! Relaxing and cozy with a fireplace in our room. Maura, Darcy and Leeto, thank you! Will definitely return, hopefully soon.
