Our stay was perfect-our only mistake was not staying longer. The resort is beautiful, we could bring our dogs-plenty of outdoor walking, and our rooms with the water view and balconies were just lovely. The staff was always friendly and helpful and made our stay comfortable and relaxing.

The room was beautiful- everything I anticipated- but upon checkout I was hit with an extra bill that I was never told of upfront- left a very bad feeling for the resort -also, very disappointed with the food at Fresh Salt

What nice venue for a 2-3 day getaway! We had a great room facing the Marina with Long Island off in the distance. The staff was upbeat, helpful and professional across the board. The facility was very neat and reflective of an earlier time. Fresh Salt is not fine dining but the food is top-notch, especially the seafood (Cioppino was off the charts good). The Choo Choo lounge had a laid back vibe with live music two out of three nights we were there. There is also a Marina level outdoor bar with dockside dining. Did not use the Spa but it looked good. The general Old Saybrook area has a few scenic views and one top-shelf fine dinning venue (the Essex). If you are looking for a stop driving from MA/RI/ME to NYC/Philly/DC this is the place.

We had a wonderful time. It was our first time there and can highly recommend it. Everything was perfect from our room with a view of the marina to the delicious food at the restaurant. Looking forward to going back for a longer stay.

The hotel is lovely with beautiful decor - lovely wallpaper, carpeting, paintings, and furniture! Our room was large and the bathroom very functional allowing two people to get ready at the same time. Very important to me, the room was extremely quiet, allowing a restful sleep each night. All of the staff were very accommodating and friendly!

The Saybrook Point Inn and Spa was romantic and absolutely beautiful (even in the dead of winter). The staff attended to every desire, and the spa treatments were marvelous and soooo relaxing. I highly recommend facial and massage as well as the mud body wrap.

It was a lovely getaway at the Saybrook Point Inn & Spa. As we arrived for our serious pampering, I could feel the tension leave...

If you are looking for a romantic place with a spectacular water view - then the Saybrook Point Inn in Old Saybrook, CT is the place for you. We had a lovely sitting area with a balcony for enjoying the sunset water view and a working fireplace. Excellent staff and the hotel was immaculate. In any season the Saybrook Point Inn is fabulous.
