Nice place for a few day getaway

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 12 hours ago

Hotel is first class A couple of odd things. There was a fireplace in the room, but it wasn't gas and didn't work. The kitchen had no light, and no sharp knives. The bathroom had 4 large towels, but only 2 washcloths Nothing terrible, just unusual for a high end room

Friendly and Luxurious

As always, everything was top-shelf. Such a great place to relax and unwind. Also, we loved the redecoration.

Attended a wedding at this resort. Was lovely! Our room was spacious with a fireplace and balcony. Loved the area and the food!

Can’t Wait to Return

The staff is awesome, I mean everybody. Front Desk, Bell Hope, House Keeping, Bar Tenders, Waiters, the Hotel drivers to get you around town etc. Whatever you folks are preaching/training keep it up and don’t change. It was refreshing staying in a hotel with old school values. When I come to visit family and friends no more chain hotels, your it

Year round salt pool plus great food at this friendly, low key resort

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

A wonderful stay, as we've had before. The year-round heated outdoor salt pool is a delight. Staff are consistently warm and helpful. This time we had our small dog along, and the staff are clearly comfortable with dogs. We appreciated the room service available for all excellent meals, as it meant we did not have to leave her in her crate in the room. The only disappointment was discovering we'd left an expensive phone charger in the room after checkout, and within hours called the resort, with the front desk assuring that they'd mail it to us, and notifying housekeeping to look for it. The report back the next day was that no charger was found, so that means that whomever cleaned the room simply pocketed it. This was after we also left a tip. Nonetheless, we will return as this is a great place to walk, swim, eat, drink, and sleep!

The Saybrook Point Inn and Spa was romantic and absolutely beautiful (even in the dead of winter). The staff attended to every desire, and the spa treatments were marvelous and soooo relaxing. I highly recommend facial and massage as well as the mud body wrap.

It was a lovely getaway at the Saybrook Point Inn & Spa. As we arrived for our serious pampering, I could feel the tension leave...

If you are looking for a romantic place with a spectacular water view - then the Saybrook Point Inn in Old Saybrook, CT is the place for you. We had a lovely sitting area with a balcony for enjoying the sunset water view and a working fireplace. Excellent staff and the hotel was immaculate. In any season the Saybrook Point Inn is fabulous.
