Check in process was easy, staff was friendly. It is more informal than a high end resort, so you really get that "inn" feel. The rooms are very big, very clean, and the HVAC worked wonderful. There was nice new wallpaper in my room. The hotel is not set up as a business hotel, more of a vacation destination. So there are no outlets near the bed, no USBs, not outlets on the desk. Not a lot of light in the room. That being said, the bed was very comfortable and felt much like a nice resort. The bathrooms are nice, standard bathroom size. Towels were fine. The gym was very nice, with plenty of equipment. There was a spa I did not try and a salt water pool I did not try. They had electric car chargers, which was great, and anyone with an electric car knows how important it is to find a station, so this is one less thing to worry about. Overall this was a nice place, and I would stay again if I'm "inn" the area

Stayed in the beautiful, couples only guest house. Room was a little pricey but very private and nice. One of quietest and relaxing places ever stayed in. Would have been nice at the price charged to have been served breakfast (there were complimentary muffins and coffee). Overall a great experience. Ate dinner at Inn's restaurant one night - great meal with a great view.

We were very happy with the location. The rooms were excellent. The food was on the pricey side but the area made up for the difference. We had a lovely visit. The weather was beautiful. This place did an excellent job with the wedding. The food was very good. The wedding was outside the resort near the marina.

I paid the big bucks thinking that I will be getting a room with waterfront view and ended up in a room with tree obstructing the water view. Tried to change the room, non was available. I really think they should change these rooms that are facing this tree to water view and not water front. The food was average, I actually had to return the cordon blue chicken since it was really under cooked, they didn't charge me for it, but my appetite was already ruined The rooms are nice, clean and luxurious. The waiters/waitresses in the restaurant were very nice. Sunday brunch was average, too expensive for what it offers though.

Saybrook Point Inn & Spa is located right on a marina. This massive inn provided us with a room with a small balcony from which we could see the nearest lighthouse and the surrounding sea (Long Island Sound.) The room was large with two queen sized post end bed, a sitting area near a fireplace, as well as two desks, spacious closet, and very luxurious bathroom. If something malfunctioned, a staff member appeared within five minutes to fix the problem. The spa included an indoor pool, and outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room (which unfortunately was not working), bicycles for rent, and miles of walking trails. Though we didn't schedule a massage, the masseurs were also available. We had a delightful stay.
