The Bellmoor Inn, a seaside resort, a non-smoking hotel that has the look and feel of a modern stylish inn while offering the service and privacy of a small European hotel. A Rehoboth Beach Inn for decades, it has been reborn as the newest with the completion of 78 elegant rooms, suites, and luxurious amenities. A garden spot seemingly far removed from ocean resort activity, yet only a short walk to the beach and the town's renowned boutiques, restaurants, galleries and coffee houses. Head out for a day of deep-sea fishing. Picnic on the beach. Sip refreshing craft beers and wines after a brewery or vineyard tour. Bellmoor Inn & Spa - great hotel, off-season value, ambiance embrasive This is our third stay at the Bellmoor. All three stays were enjoyable and only differed in the three rooms we chose: the first being a regular hotel room, the second being the Dagsworthy Suite and this one being a cottage room off the pool/garden area. Garth, the check-in desk clerk, started our stay off on the right foot by honoring our early check-in request and being so welcoming. Off-season rates are more wallet friendly and this popular beach town is less crowded. I cant brag enough about the ambiance perks of this hotel, namely, the fireplace library room, the complimentary breakfast, the indoor hot tub/spa, the garden patio area and finally fresh cookies every day around 3pm. Two recommendations: book early for a stay here and dont do the cottage garden second floor if you are stair challenged (no elevator) and secondly make a fine dining reservation (Open Table app) at the 1776 restaurant on Coastal Highway.

The Garden is simply not up to Bellmoor standard. Dirty, loud, rooms not renovated. Breakfast was also disappointing.

Hotel in desperate need of new carpet, new furniture and renovation. The redo to the hotel about 7 or 8 years ago is now showing extreme wear and tear. The hotel is mi longer pristine.

The Bellmoor Inn & Spa has been in a serious decline. We've stayed for years. The furniture is worn. The carpets we encounter are old and dirty. Today we've been without hot water since morning and no solution has been offered. No communication from mgmt. This high priced place once prided itself on having an omelette station on Mother's Day. Not anymore. The corporation which purchased the place is letting it slip seriously and we'll be taking our business elsewhere when enjoying Rehoboth Beach.

This was a very disappointing stay. I'm giving it 3 stars, instead of fewer, because there are many things I like about the hotel. The problem for us was that the room they put us in was not nearly as good as I would have expected from a nice hotel like this. We were in one of the garden rooms, which looked out on stairs, not a garden. the room was very small and had a tiny bathroom in which you have to turn sideways to shut the door. The bathroom has no sink and the small tub shower is slippery, which can be dangerous. There is a sink outside the bathroom, in the room. One of the worst features was an HVAC appliance that looked like it was from the 1980s, which made a huge amount of noise and went off and on all night, waking us up regularly. I finally turned it off, deciding that cold was better than that noise. I was annoyed later to realize there were better rooms available in the main building. As I said, there are many good things about the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is decent and plentiful, the spa is very good, and the bartender (Rick) is great. The main building is nice, with some nice common rooms, including one cozy room with a fire. In fact, I would probably stay there again if I could be sure I was getting a room in the main building and not one of the tiny, uncomfortable garden rooms.
