The attention to detail and service was tremendous. As a meeting planner, I'm well aware of how hard it is to get everything right, and very much appreciate the great job by ALL of the staff at the Inn.

My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary at the Inn at Perry Cabin. Our first issue was the room. It was well appointed and clean and had a beautiful view. However, the construction between floors is wooden construction and the family upstairs didn't seem to care that their young child was running laps and jumping off the furniture before 7:00 am both mornings. Not the fault of the Inn but they should know better than to put a family on the third floor. When I said something at the desk, they said, "sorry" but did not offer any solution or alternatives. We had dinner at the Stars restaurant and after the waiter seated us and said he would be taking care of us, he disappeared and did not show up again until we complained that nobody was waiting on us. When he returned he was apologetic and said he thought someone else was waiting on our table. Once again they seemed more annoyed with us rather than offering us a cocktail or an appetizer for our inconvenience. The food was good but not 5 stars! My wife had a Spa day which she enjoyed very much, but they did not accept the coupon that the Inn had placed in our room and indicated that they were not aware of the special offer. When I asked at the desk, they said that the coupon was for another weekend! Why would we want a coupon for the next weekend! I wanted to inform the management of these issues and the lack of concern or response from the team onsite so I wrote an email using the "Contact Us" link on their website. I had hoped to get some kind of response but received nothing back. It has been several months since my stay (November 18th) and I thought they had plenty of time to respond, I will not likely stay at the Inn at Perry Cabin again although I definitely recommend St. Michaels. Perry cabin is just too much money for below average service.

We have been coming here for many years and it’s changed over the years, new GM’s and new Head chefs, but it’s a special place and this visit was fabulous We started with afternoon tea in Stars restaurant, it used to be served in the morning room which we loved, moving it into the restaurant was a nice touch especially as we had a window seat to an amazing view, fresh brewed Green Tea and Lavender Earl Grey Tea were both lovely as were the sandwiches and pastries, service excellent Our Junior Suite was beautifully furnished with a mix of antiques and new pieces, I could have stayed there for days! Dinner we decided to go casual and eat in the bar, we had some friends join us, we choose from bar and restaurant menus, everything was great from the scallops to the burger and the amazing sweet potato fries, Kelsey was our bartender/server and she was the Best! friendly, attentive and chatty just a lovely young lady who is excellent at her job! For breakfast we ordered room service and it was promptly delivered by Patty, who was delightful, she set everything up on our coffee table and it was just amazing, she has been at the Inn for many years and is very good at her job We had spa treatments the next day, my husband had a massage and myself a facial, both excellent The Inn’s gardens are looking great, especially for this time of the year, we know the gardener Joanne who has been there for years, what a talent she has, her displays inside the Inn were always amazing As I said we had the Best Time!

Even in cold January the Inn at Perry Cabin was everything you could want in a weekend getaway. We booked through AMEX travel and were given a complimentary upgrade to a sprawling and fabulous room overlooking the water welcomed by a bottle of wine. We were located on the second floor of the main building and was a quick trip to the restaurant, lounge/bar and lobby. The room renovation is amazing and the photos don’t do it justice — so cozy and warm. All of the staff on site are so friendly and professional. The spa was nothing fancy but the treatments were excellent. We enjoyed having drinks and snack at the bar and breakfast at Stars was delicious every morning. Can’t wait to go back!

We decided to have a getaway weekend to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We choose the Inn at Perry Cabin due to proximity and because we have had excellent results in other Belmond hotels (Charleston, Cambodia & Peru). This property did not disappoint. It may be our #2 in this chain. We had a lovely junior suite overlooking the bay. The room was bright and spacious. The furnishings were comfortable and plentiful. The bathroom with two sinks, a separate shower and tub and enclosed toilet was welcomed. We even liked the number of dresser drawers and hangers for clothes. Our package included breakfast each day and a credit in the restaurant and/or pub. We found both the restaurant (for breakfast) and the pub (cocktails, snacks and lite dinner) enjoyable and welcoming. We only wish it would have been able to use our deck but alas 17-25 degree days was not conducive to outside seating. We are already planning another getaway to Perry Cabin but the next time in the fall.
