We visited the Inn at Perry Cabin while enjoying the Christmas in St. Michael's festival. The service was exceptional, our room was clean and comfortable, the decor for the holidays was beautiful. We visited Stars Restaurant and were not disappointed - everything we ate from appetizers to desserts was wonderful (our server, Wayne, was such a pleasure to meet, and of course my favorite Inn staff member, Vicky, was there serving bread - she has such a St. Michael's charm and is someone I look forward to seeing.) We also visited the Linden Spa and were just as pleased - the decor is not typical of a "spa" but it fits well with the historic flair seen throughout the Inn which I feel is a nice touch. A hot tub would have been nice to enjoy before the massage but the relaxing room was sufficient. We will certainly be returning and will look forward to our next chance to visit. Two things to watch for when making your plans to visit - I booked on what I thought was the Inn's reservation system but was actually a "third party" booking site. I went to the Inn's website, explored everything from room types, to spa services, restaurant menu and more. I selected my room and proceeded with the booking process. When I called a couple weeks later to see if I could take advantage of a cyber-Monday special, I learned that I had actually booked through a third party site and the sale could not be offered to me for that reason. No one was able to help me figure how I got to a third party site (nor have I been able to figure how I got there.) So when booking, make sure you are booking with the Inn directly if you hope to take advantage of their price match guarantee. We lost out on this opportunity and could have possibly saved a lot of money. Secondly, room 36 is a lovely room, but it sits directly above the Inn's main entrance and lobby. Every time the front door closed, we could hear it snap shut. Unless they replace the doors with an option that opens and closes with no locking mechanism that snaps together, I'd avoid this room simply for the sake of that noise. I think it is expected that you hear noises more easily in a historic inn but this one was a little much. Overall, our experience was wonderful and we highly recommend the Inn at Perry Cabin for a special and relaxing getaway.

Three old friends, former roommates from 20 years again in Washington, DC (now we are in our 50s) stayed at the Inn 3 weeks ago for 2 nights. It was very beautiful and overall our stay was good. The room was lovely, and the spa experience was good. The overall service however, unfortunately was just Okay. We were surprised when we approached the front desk on several occasions with questions...they remained on the phone, or chatting among themselves instead of looking to guide us or offer assistance. One night we asked for recommendations on a restaurant since we were heading to Easton during the Waterfowl festival for dinner, and they mentioned a restaurant or two, but didn't offer to make a reservation or even write the name or phone numbers of the places down for us. We were all really stunned....We felt as if the young male valets parking our car were more helpful and polite than the front desk. It was really sort of weird. The spa was excellent (a little older, but very charming) and the service there was good. The fine dining was decent...but could have been more exceptional, as well as our server. Don't mean to be a downer...just underwhelming. Hope management sees this review, and shapes things up a notch or two.

This is a lovely (and pricey) hotel, located on the water. Ask for a room with a direct water view. We could see the water from our room, but only if we went to the balcony door and looked out. Wish we could have enjoyed the view from the sofa or chairs in our room. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are immaculate. The Inn is beautifully decorated for the holidays.

What a difference a year makes. Last year was fantastic. This year, not so much. May have been the time of our visit but was crawling with conferences. The decor and all we loved about the inn had changed. It was so charming and inviting last year. They have redecorated to a more modern, colder atmosphere. The staff matched the decor, cold and not much attention. The general manger looked right through us when greeted. Soooo different from our last stay.... we had so much fun, Won’t be back 😢

We've been to a ton of properties before, but this was an amazing experience. We had so much fun with great views throughout. The staff was great! We would love to come back another time in the future.
