Meander through the Woodland Garden under a canopy of old magnolia, holly and cypress trees. Sit on a teakwood bench surrounded by sweet peas and roses, listening to the cardinals sing. Float in a heated infinity pool. Step aboard the historic HM Krentz skipjack to help dredge for oysters. Dine by the fireplace on St. Michaels imperial crab cakes with butternut squash and heirloom cranberry bean stew.

This was a weekend trip off season. We've never been to this area of Maryland before. There really isn't much to do especially this time of year, however the Inn At Perry Cabin seems to be the place to be in St Michael's at this time of year, and it was quite busy. There were many young couples, and young families, and there was a conference too. The property is well kept with a trail around the property, plenty of Adirondeck chairs to soak in the sun and savor the sunrise. The best thing about this property is it's staff. EVERYONE from valet, to consierge, to waitstaff, spa personnel, housekeeping, and grounds keepers are conscientious, accomidating, friendly, and just good people. The grounds this time of year are still maintained, and interesting. The meals we had on site were excellent and they are always willing to make dietary adjustments. The rooms are spacious, we had a suite, but they are a little tired. The mattresses could use an update, and the couch was a lumpy, the rug was frayed. They have a small mini-fridge, but it doesn't have a freezer section, and there is no microwave. Our upstairs neighbors were very loud, and we could hear them through the floor. There was a small balcony off the room where you can have a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise as long as you bundled up. We booked massages, and I can honestly say, I've never had a better one. The technicians were excellent. I didn't know what to expect when we booked the trip, but I was pleasantly surprised!

After visiting St. Michaels this past summer & a visit to check out the Inn at Perry Cabin we decided to book a short stay at Christmas. Unfortunately, this hotel did not shape up anywhere near its hype. Keys didn't work, Lights in the room did not work & the Kitchen was exorbitantly overpriced & mediocre. It's a nice location but way overpriced. It's just another worn-out old hotel gone to seed.

We love our visits to the Cabin. Relaxed, cosy and great service everytime.

I love the Inn at Perry Cabin. We had a fabulous visit after a quick wedding. We loved the champagne toast and a dinner outside. It was truly lovely and the perfect getaway.

The Inn at Perry Cabin is a luxury, boutique hotel just outside the core of Saint Michael’s, Maryland, situated on the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Neither large nor small at 81 (we were told) guest rooms and suites, it sits on beautiful, spacious, and immaculately tended grounds. There is also a spa as well as seasonally available outdoor activities (tennis, swimming, golf, boating). Inside there is little to complain about – it’s all first class and very well staffed. We are a happily retired couple and were looking for a quiet, romantic getaway within easy driving distance from our home in Washington, DC. For the most part, that’s very much what we got. Luxury comes with a high price tag, of course, but we knew that going in. This is not a place for bargain-hunters. We had a nicely appointed suite with a lovely view of the Inn’s waterside grounds. We had all our breakfasts and one dinner in the Inn’s excellent main dining room, Stars, plus snacks one evening in the mostly-deserted (it was a Thursday in November) bar/pub. The food and service were very good. We do wish there had not been one or more loud babies nearby at each of the meals we had in Stars (including the one we paid nearly $400 for), but it’s a family-friendly resort and some of that is to be expected. What we did not expect was a barking (and, occasionally howling), apparently unattended dog in the suite adjacent to ours. There are obvious advantages to being a pet-friendly hotel, but there can also be consequences for those looking for peace and quiet. The housekeeping staff also missed us entirely on one of our three days at the Inn, but that may have been due to the somewhat remote location of our room and the fact that we only left the room available for a few afternoon hours on that rainy and coldish day. In many ways, this is a terrific place to stay, in a wonderful setting. It was almost what we were hoping for.

We just completed our stay at the Inn at Perry Cabin, which we booked through Luxury Link. It was wonderful we had a fabulous stay. The people I talked with at Luxury Link were straightforward and helpful. I would definitely consider booking through Luxury Link again.

We just loved our stay at The Inn At Perry Cabin and actually look forward to planning our next trip in a few months! We also love the fact that you are dog friendly. We would love to compliment Chance, who was part of your wait staff, and the man who is on loan from Dc was quite fabulous! They both really made our stay quite enjoyable. The spa was topnotch and the customer service was wonderful. We are hoping this will become our every year vacation spot. Thank you much.
