Though I was not able to keep a reservation due to a family emergency, the kindness and generous nature of particularly Tony and Barbara have endeared the Simpson House to me forever. I had selected the Simpson House based on its impeccable reviews and reputation. Their customer service is what beckons me now. I hope to stay there in the not-to-distant future.

We stayed in the Weathervane room for 5 days in August during my birthday trip. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the room was very comfortable. I looked forward to the breakfast everyday. Not only was the food delicious but the atmosphere was very relaxing. We had breakfast in our room on my birthday and everything was set up very nicely. The afternoon snacks and cookies were yummy! The biggest downside to me was that there were children there. We came back after dinner one evening and I almost tripped on a very unexpected skateboard in the driveway as a family was checking in. We have children (and I like children) but we planned this trip for just the two of us and one of the reasons we splurged on this location is because we thought no children were allowed. This did take away from the experience a little for me.

Me and my husband stayed here for the final leg of our honeymoon. We treated ourselves to the garden room - an absolutely stunning little home from home. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left we felt like a part of the Simpson House Inn family, and the staff couldn't do enough for you. It was a truly wonderful and homely place. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious to eat. We loved enjoying the wine in the evening on the veranda surrounded by the magical gardens. I cannot recommend this Inn enough, it was worth every single penny and more. Unfortunately we didn't get the name of the wonderful lady who checked us in, I wish we did because she was such a beautiful person inside and out that was extremely gracious, kind and welcoming. Thank you Simpson House Inn for the wonderful memories you have given that will last a lifetime.

We decided to book our stay at this Inn based on Trip Advisor reviews - my fellow Trip Advisor reviewers were spot on with their 5 star reviews! We are not typically bed and breakfast people, but this Inn looked so lovely that we thought it was worth trying. The great accommodations and the exceptional staff did not disappoint. The service was truly outstanding. Very personal. The staff anticipated everything we'd need or just like to have in order to make our stay a real pleasure. Our room was gorgeous and the grounds were perfectly maintained and manicured. Breakfast was delicious, served at our own table out on the charming wrap-around porch. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet and the surroundings are just beautiful. Highly recommend.
