What a phenomenal five days/four nights we had this week, celebrating our 19th anniversary at the Inn and Spa at Loretto. At check-in on 5/14/18, the desk clerks greeted us in such a friendly manner, hand-delivering a written message from a friend. I should back up: the valets were super-friendly, too, and were consistent throughout the week, with special acknowledgment of Emilio and a young man who had connections to Portales (knew the Russell family). Our room was nice (our only disappointment that we didn't have a private patio as we did on our last visit), and very comfortable, with a nice view of the Loretto Chapel spire. We could hear the bells clearly (but not annoyingly) throughout the day. Housekeeping did a great job, and we loved the bath products (Damana) so much! The refrigerator was handy for a week-long visit, and the bar was generous, often giving us complimentary sodas in the evening. Both housekeeping and the valets always offered free water bottles, and our location? Cannot be beat! Just a quick walk to the Plaza. We will definitely return. Oh - and they are one of the few hotels who still keep USA Today available for guests. Oh - and the wi-fi is reliable and excellent.

This was my second visit to Santa Fe, but my first stay in the inn. From checkin to check out, it was a wonderful stay. I was absolutely delighted to find a friendly stuffed bear in my room when I arrived. The lounge and its staff provided a delightful end to our days. There are several boutiques in the hotel, an artist in residence program, and a friendly staff who never to greet us, or offer assistance. Santa Fe is very walkable, and from the inn we were able to walk to virtually everything we wanted to see or do.

This is a wonderful luxury hotel that has been around a long time. Nevertheless, the showers are terrific, the beds luxurious and all the amenities like free water, internet, parking and turndown are provided. You cannot find a better experience in Santa Fe. Incidentally, legendary margaritas in the bar made with fresh squeezed line and orange (yes. orange) juice

My wife and I stayed here for several days in late April. We plan on staying three days but extended it since we were sick. The hotel was very accommodating in extending our stay over we had to move one day. It is a beautiful hotel, fitting nicely in the Santa Fe spirit. The beds are comfortable. In one of the rooms we had a large patio. It is located at an easy walk to the plaza. It is an easy walk to nearly everything in town. There’s a good restaurant and we had an excellent breakfast on the patio one day and in the dining room on the second day which was cooler. We plan to stay at this hotel again in the future.

Not many places get better with each visit, but Inn at Loretto has not only never disappointed us, but after 6 or more stays in as many years, my husband and I have concluded we will never stay anywhere else in Santa Fe. Each time we visit, we are greeted like old friends, and treated just the same. Cannot say enough about the stellar service, front desk professionalism, (BJ & Dylan are rock stars!), the overall ambiance exceeds our expectations each time. Don't miss the gorgeous wood carved, folk art ceiling in the Living Room, the hotel's bar/lounge, and whatever you do be sure and meet Marcie, one of the bartenders. Her Irish lilt and wonderful personality make everyone feel like they've known her for years. The rooms are tastefully decorated, squeaky clean, and so comfortable. Ask for a balcony room with a view of the Loretto Chapel -- magical. Luminarias Restaurant offers up regional fare along with upscale American dining. The courtyard is a lovely place to enjoy their food & drink. And though we've never used their acclaimed spa, a pedicure and massage will be our next experience when we go back in June with family. Cheers to a hotel that will keep us coming back for years to come.
