Reviews for Inn and Spa at Loretto
This was our first stay at the Inn and Spa at Loretto and we were there for four nights. The property and grounds are beautiful, and the onsite Luminaria restaurant has the most charming outdoor eating space in Santa Fe. The location next to the Loretto Chapel is ideal for exploring the Plaza area, but also a bit outside of the main hustle and bustle. There was a little confusion upon check-in...the front desk seemed to be training new staff. The valet and bellhops were very good, but the cleaning staff did not come one day too clean our room. For those reasons, I gave the property 4 instead of 5 stars... but the staff were all pleasant and eager to please, which makes up for a lot. I would definitely stay here again!

Management here has really built a first class hotel that should serve as a model to others. First check in was easy, but more important, the concierge came to us, proactively, while we were signing in, to give us lots of town activity literature and offer her help. The room was very clean and large. Loved the casement windows with screens overlooking the pool from our fourth floor window, so we had fresh air and no bugs. And a powerful room air conditioning unit kept the room cool as the afternoon heated up. The bed and silky-smooth sheets were as comfortable as any bed we have had, and honestly better than our own. We liked the convenience of the large toiletry pump bottles of shampoo etc. on the shower wall, although if you're a collector of small hotel bottles, you would be disappointed. The restaurant is delightful for outdoor dining. Even checking out was nice, with no charge for valet parking while there (maybe the $15 resort fee is supposed to cover that) and the valet offering us a couple of bottles of cold water for the drive ahead. All in all, we loved this hotel, enjoyed its convenient location, and would clearly stay here again.

The hotel is lovely. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The pool patio area is a great place for a quick swim or a place to just relax and have a drink. Staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. Great valet parking. Great location close to the Plaza. The restaurant serves a wonderful dinner. The only down side was that a family had the rooms on either side of us, and the kids were climbing back and forth across the roof, making our balcony pretty much unusable.

Stayed 8 nights during for the International Folk Art Market, with many of our group not speaking English, the staff could not have been better. So friendly and welcoming to our mixed group of nations. And helped us out with our needs for having our own picnics up on their wonderful rooftop spaces. It was a very relaxing stay.

Another one of our tour groups had the pleasure of staying at the Inn and Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe ---- what a place !! This is my 3rd visit in the last year. Our group required 19 rooms for 2 nites with meals, and our entire stay couldn't have turned out better. "Groups" person Leah, attended to all the details and left nothing to chance. The facility is only 3 blocks from the Plaza, yet quiet and inviting. We are already scheduled to return with another group in October. If the staff can thrill this many guests at one time, chances are pretty good that your plans for a long weekend or business meeting will be a snap --- nothin' but super-effective teamwork going on here.
